Part-time Qualitative Researcher 
at Rutgers University
The Education and Employment Research Center in the School of Management and Labor Relations at Rutgers University seeks a part-time qualitative researcher for work on higher education and workforce development research projects. This researcher would help design and execute evaluation plans for various projects and produce analysis for reporting.
● 20-30 hours per week 
● Salary commensurate with experience
● Applications are rolling 
● Start as soon as possible

工作职责
Responsibilities include:
● Contribute to the design, execution, and interpretation of social science, experimental, survey research, and other studies with a focus on qualitative methodologies.
● Conduct interviews with a range of respondents including students, higher education and workforce leaders, and employers.
● Perform coding and analysis using NVivo qualitative data management software.
● Prepare written reports, sections for academic publication, technical reports, presentations, and external communications summarizing research methods, findings, and implications.
● Coordinate with internal teams to support projects.
● Effectively communicate research methods and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
● Assist with development of proposals and work plans.
● Potentially travel to visit research sites in the field.

招聘要求
Qualifications:
● Master or Doctoral degree in a social science discipline.
● Minimum of three years of academic or professional research experience required.
● Demonstration of strong verbal and written communications skills.
● Ability to work well with others, as well as independently and under minimal supervision.
● Strong qualitative research ability.
● Experience working with data in NVivo or similar qualitative data management software preferred.
● Knowledge about community colleges, STEM education, economic development, and workforce development preferred.
