罗格斯大学新泽西医学院招募科研助理！CAR-NK bioinformatics相关研究！

(1) the immunobiology of Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) T and NK cells (Yang, Y. et al., Mol Ther Methods & Clinical Development, 2020);

(2) characterize these CAR-T and CAR-NK cells for development of innovative therapies for viral infection (Ma, M. et al., Frontiers in Immunology, 2021) and infection-related malignancies with the ultimate goal of administering them to patients as part of a future clinical trial (Tseng, H.C. et al., Nature Communications, 2020); 

(3) the cell biology of NK cell (NIH funded), with a focus on NK cell inhibitory receptor signaling (Huang, Y. et al., JACI, 2018 and Zheng, P. et al., JACI, 2015)  and immunological synapse (Xiong , W. et al., Mol Ther, 2018), which will collaborate with U Penn (Singh, N., et al., Nature Medicine, 2021) and Baylor College of Medicine (Naghizadeh, A., et al., PLoS Computational Biology, 2022) for clinical research. 

We are using molecular, biochemical, bioinformatics, immunological, and advanced super-resolution imaging strategies, as well as machine learning (Naghizadeh, A. et al., Neural Netw., 2021 and Naghizadeh, A., et al., PLoS Computational Biology, 2022), approaches for understanding human lymphocyte (including CTLs and NK cells) dysfunction in chronic infectious diseases (e.g., HIV or HBV) and cancers. This research position will also provide the opportunity to apply cutting-edge techniques to study the biology of CAR-T and CAR-NK cells in the laboratory of Dongfang Liu (> 20 years of experience in NK cell research), a highly productive research group in NK and CAR-NK research. 

This position requires strong expertise in RNA-Seq data analysis and communication. The candidate can improve robust and highly automated computational pipelines for analyzing and storing single-cell RNA-Seq and WES. Background in immunology, imaging process and a strong commitment to the described research program is desirable but not required.
