欢迎走进 “亚裔在莱镇”你的我的摄影展及摄影作品慈善义卖。

本期分四个主题虚拟展厅继续展示和义卖，它们是“社区建设”、“公民参与”、 “文化与艺术”、 “节日庆典”。

摄影

摄影就是抓住那些充满节奏、有力的画面。摄影从一开始就不是记录，它是二次艺术创作，可它又不是虚构，这令人着迷。每张照片都是时光的标本，用镜头理解世界，用影像记忆时代。

社区建设

恭喜莱镇居民和长期志愿者 Sophia Ho ，她在 2017 年爱国者日仪式上获得了Minuteman Cane Award奖，以表彰她对社区的贡献。这个最负盛名的奖项每年都会颁发给一位 80 岁以上的老人，并已在莱镇居住满15年以上，且积极参与社区活动，激励他人的人。

Congratulations to Lexington resident and long time volunteer Sophia Ho, who received the Minuteman Cane Award in 2017 Patriot’s Day Ceremony for her dedication to community, character and accomplishments. This most prestigious award is given by the town annually to a person over 80 years old, has been a resident of Lexington for 15 years, and is actively involved in the community, and an inspiration to others.

义卖所得款项将悉数捐给镇图书馆用于儿童图书室和大型会议室改造项目。

“Asians in Lexington - One Village, One Dream Photography Exhibition” has been on display at Cary Memorial Library for nearly two months and ended on June 30. With the consent of our generous photographers, we will put most of the photography prints (with frame) on sale for $50 each. All the proceeds will go to the Cary Library’s “ChiRP Children’s Room Project”. Please check the library’s website https://www.carylibrary.org/children/chirp for more information about the project.

The process is simple: When you examine the photos in this article, you can find the serial number below each photo. Please tell us the title or the serial number of the photos you want to purchase, and your contact information by filling in the google form below:

The payment shall be made within 24 hours after filling in the form. We will contact you soon after, so you can receive the photos.
