Immigration Attorney
Overview
A small law firm with four lawyers located in Newton, Massachusetts is seeking a full-time mid to senior-level business immigration attorney to join this fast pace environment. The law firm offers a full range of services for corporate, commercial, employment, trusts and estates, litigation and alternative dispute resolution. The immigration attorney will be spearheading the immigration practices and has the opportunity to lead the immigration department. The established services of the firm will be an excellent platform to feed and support the needs of the immigration practice. If you are a person with high integrity and energy, initiative-taking, hardworking, and an excellent communicator, you will be a fit with our firm.
Qualifications
  • LLM required JD desired
  • Member of any State Bar
  • 4 to 6 years of business immigration experience
  • Chinese (Mandarin) is a must
Responsibilities
  • Preparing and filing non-immigrant (such as L, H, TN, E, O) and immigrant (PERM, I-130, EB1A, B & C, I-140, I-485) petitions and applications
  • Speak with clients on a daily basis to provide updates on cases and new developments
  • Manage and delegate coordinator or paralegal
  • Advise clients on I-9 and E-Verify compliance and corporate immigration policies
  • Counsel clients through the PERM labor certification process
Compensation/Benefits
  • $80,000
