Sunlight Rock/  日光岩
Sunlight Rock is the highest point of Gulangyu. Perched atop this stunning peak is a gigantic stone with a diameter of over 40 meters. A towering creation of nature and the symbol of Xiamen, Sunlight Rock commands a panoramic view of the narrow channel between Xiamen Island and Gulangyu. If you haven't ascended Sunlight Rock, you haven't truly been to Gulangyu.

Located in the northeast portion of the island of Xiamen, the Wuyuan Bay area is home to ocean views, hot springs, lush vegetation, wetlands and a massive bay. Sometimes referred to as Xiamen's "green lungs," the Wuyuan Bay Wetlands Park covers more than 85 hectares and is Xiamen's largest wetland ecology park.

Seaside adjacent to International Conference and Exhibition Center/  会展海边
The Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center is located in the southeast corner of the island of Xiamen. The city's majestic Island Ring Boulevard borders the exhibition center. The meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) industry is rebounding nicely and people from around the world flock to this part of Xiamen. Stand on the beach and look to the east to catch a perfect sunrise view.

Huangcuo Beach/  黄厝海滩
Huangcuo Beach is perhaps the most captivating beach along the Island Ring Boulevard. In addition to the amazing ocean views, you can appreciate views of Xiamen University and Hulishan Fortress in the distance. It's a perfect place to take pictures of a stunning sunrise or sunset. Other great options in the area include a beachside bike ride or a stroll to enjoy the gentle sea breeze.

Mountain-to-Sea Trail

健康步道
The 23-kilometer Xiamen Mountain-to-Sea Trail between the cruise port at Dongdu and the beach near Guanyin Mountain. The route links eight local hilltops (Huwei, Xianyue, Yuan, Xueling, Hutou, Jin, Huzai and Guanyin) as well as three waterways (Yundang Lake, Wuyuan Bay and Hubian Reservoir). The Xiamen Mountain-to-Sea Trail now has become the perfect for hiking and exercising.
山海健康步道全长约23公里，形成贯穿厦门岛东西方向的山海步行通廊。全线有7座节点桥梁，16个景观打卡点、12个特色景观园区、52个出入口及多个观景平台，已成为厦门市民的散步健身好去处。
