Postdoctoral fellow & Research Assistant Position

The lab led by Dr. Lili Zhang in the Harvard Medical School at Boston Children's Hospital is seeking 2 wet bench Postdoctoral fellows or Research Assistants for investigation of endothelial cell research in cardiovascular diseases. The position is supported by a newly funded 5-years R01 grant from NIH.

Dr. Zhang is an Assistant Professor in Harvard Medical School (#1 medical school ranked by U.S. News)and a faculty member in the Cardiology Department of Boston Children's Hospital (#1 children's hospital ranked by U.S. News). Boston Children's Hospital is a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School.

The Lab is located at the center of the Harvard Longwood Medical Area, embraced by tens of other top institutes such as the Massachusetts General Hospital, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and Broad Institute. Both Harvard Medical School and Boston Children’s Hospital offer rich and dynamic research environments.

招聘详情

Candidate must have a PhD or Master or equivalent degree in the biological or medical area.

Expertise related to any of the following research directions will be considered with a high priority:

（1）stem cell biology，

（2）cell differentiation，

（3）epigenetic regulation of transcription or post-transcriptional regulation of RNA expression,

（4）Endothelium biology，

（5）animal model of cardiovascular disease. Experiences with flow cytometry, molecular biology (qPCR, cloning, immunoprecipitation, western blotting), and high throughput sequencing (ChIP-seq, RNA-seq, scRNA-seq) will be very valuable too.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $45,000.00 to $65,000.00 /year

The salary for the postdoc in the lab generally follows NIH guidelines.
