活动 | 6.8 可持续发展投资的潜力与动力

早在2016年，联合国就启动了《2030年可持续发展议程》，呼吁各国采取行动，为2030年实现17项可持续发展目标而努力。面对新冠疫情的挑战，传统发展模式的缺陷日益显露，可持续发展议程中所倡导的绿色未来转变，在如今的时代背景下，比历史上任何时候都更加重要。

从建设绿色“一带一路”，到提出五大发展理念，将可持续发展目标纳入企业战略，中国一直积极推进可持续发展目标。投资是推动发展最有力的引擎之一，通过引导投资进入改善人类福祉、减少不平等、维护人类尊严以及保护地球及其生态系统的领域，将从极大程度上激励可持续发展目标的实现。然而，如果没有适当的治理，投资也有可能带来环境破坏、社会倒退、政府腐败等众多负面后果。

因此，我们必须完善投资机制，调动投资者为可持续发展贡献力量，并帮助政府、公司、投资者、国际机构等利益相关者制定良好的政策，推行最佳实践，以最大化积极影响、最小化潜在危害。

COVID-19 has shown that "business as usual" has failed us all. At no point in our history has shifted to a green future envisioned in the 2030 Agenda been more critical. Yet achieving these goals in less than ten years requires exponential efforts, in which investments can make a difference to improve human wellbeing, reduce inequalities, uphold human dignity as well as protect the planet and its ecosystems. Yet without proper governance, the investment would be a source of environmental devastation, social degradation, government corruption, and other negative outcomes.

Therefore, it's imperative to upgrade investment mechanisms and mobilize investors to contribute to sustainable development. Good policies and practices of governments, companies, investors, and a range of national and international institutions and stakeholders play an important role to maximize positive impact while minimizing potential harms.

本次研讨中，哥大可持续投资中心高级法律和经济研究学者Martin Dietrich Brauch将与中国社会企业与影响力投资论坛副总裁林奕谷女士展开对话，共同探讨中国在可持续投资过程中的机遇和挑战。本次研讨会将由哥伦比亚大学国际与公共事务学院校友郭晓晨担任学术主持人。

On June 8, Columbia Global Centers | Beijing will host a webinar on "Accelerating Investments for Sustainable Development", supported by Columbia Center on Sustainable Investment (CCSI) and Global Shaper Community Beijing. We invite Martin Dietrich Brauch, Senior Legal and Economic Researcher at CCSI, and Yigu Lin, Vice President at China Social Enterprise and Impact Investing Forum, to discuss the opportunities and challenges of sustainable investment in China. The discussion will be moderated by Xiaochen Guo (SIPA'21), currently an investment analyst at a private equity fund.

Martin Dietrich Brauch

哥伦比亚大学可持续投资中心高级法律和经济研究学者

Martin Dietrich Brauch专注于可持续发展和低碳转型背景下的采掘业投资，以及投资法和政策、国际经济治理等其他领域。他擅长四国语言，与发展中国家有广泛的合作。

Martin Dietrich Brauch conducts economic and legal research, training, and advisory work at CCSI. He focuses on extractive industry investments in the context of sustainable development and the low-carbon transition. His expertise also extends to investment law and policy, among other areas of international economic governance. He has worked extensively with developing countries, speaking English, French, Portuguese, and Spanish.

林奕谷

中国社会企业与影响力投资论坛副总裁

林奕谷女士现任中国社会企业与影响力投资论坛副总裁，主要负责研究、倡导和推广影响力投资理念和优秀实践。林女士负责“中国影响力投资网络”的总体策划、项目落地和合作拓展，以及与美国洛克菲勒兄弟基金会、福特基金会、亚投行、联合国开发计划署等国际机构的合作策划和实施。加入社企论坛之前，林女士曾在美国《华尔街日报》负责中国文娱行业报道，后从事文娱行业一级市场投融资业务。林女士拥有北京大学和伦敦政治经济学院国际关系专业双硕士学位，以及清华大学-香港中文大学金融财务MBA学位。

Yigu Lin is the Vice President at China Social Enterprise and Impact Investing Forum (CSEIF), and is responsible to drive effective partnership and advocacy in impact investing. Before joining the CSEIF, Yigu works at a Chinese boutique investment bank as Vice President and a state-run venture capital as investment manager. Prior to that, She works at The Wall Street Journal for five years as a reporter and researcher. Yigu holds an MBA in Finance from a dual-degree program at Tsinghua University and Chinese University of Hong Kong, and Double Master’s degrees in International Affairs from Peking University and London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

郭晓晨毕业于哥伦比亚大学国际与公共事务学院，拥有公共管理硕士学位，曾担任中国社会企业与影响力投资论坛影响力投资经理，在中国倡导影响力投资，并于2022年入选世界经济论坛全球杰出青年。

Xiaochen Guo is currently working at a private equity fund as an investment analyst. She was the impact investing manager at China Social Enterprise and Impact Investing Forum and has been promoting impact investing in China. Xiaochen graduated from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs with a Master’s degree in Public Administration. She was also selected to become a World Economic Forum Global Shaper in 2022.
