If you are between the ages of 12-22 and would like to become a volunteer tutor with JuniorCoach, here is your guide to start your JuniorCoach volunteering journey. This article walks through the steps on how to sign up, set up a class, and start your own clubs!

Registration
Step 1: The first step to becoming a volunteer is to go to our website (https://juniorcoach.org/), find "Join Us" on the upper right corner, and then click "Become a JuniorCoach/Tutor" .
Step 2: After browsing the introduction about volunteer requirements, click "Apply" at the bottom of the page.

Step 3:  On the next page, after filling out your personal information and uploading your photo, please download the waiver by clicking "Review and download 'JuniorCoach Waiver and Release Form' to sign." and then scan and upload it back on the page after filling it out and signing.
Step 4：Click “Submit”, and you are done!

One-on-one tutoring
After registration, you can customize one-on-one tutoring sessions you want to teach according to your strengths and interests. You may then open the available times on your JuniorCoach dashboard.
Step 1：Sign in to your account on https://juniorcoach.org
Step 2：Click "JuniorCoach" on your dashboard.
Step 3：Select "Setting" to customise your tutoring times and subjects you would like to teach.
Step 4：Please contact the students to confirm their bookings and be on time for your booked sessions.

Your Own Clubs
If you would like to host classes with multiple students, you may start your own clubs with JuniorCoach!
Step 1: Must be a registered JuniorCoach volunteer. If you have not yet registered, please go to https://juniorcoach.org to register as a volunteer.
Step 2：Provide a brief introduction of yourself and state the subjects (Math, English, Science, Music, Dance, etc.) you want to teach to   [email protected].
Step 3：Also include the class times, your expected number of students, grade levels, and the teaching goals for your class in your email.
Step 4：If you would like to, please make a flyer including all the above information when you email us. Otherwise, the JuniorCoach team will make the flyer for you. After recieving all required information, our team will promote your class on our social media.
Step 5：All class preparations, class times, homework assignments gradings are all counted towards your volunteer hours. High-quality class lessons which receive good ratings from students can have 1 hour of lesson preparation per lesson added on top of the class time. Volunteers should record their volunteer hours and send it to [email protected] for signatures.

Award Opportunities
JuniorCoach is a qualified non-profit orgnization to offer it's registered volunteers the opportunity to receive the US President's Volunteer Award. In addition, for the volunteers who have made outstanding contributions to JuniorCoach, we will also award them with the JuniorCoach Global Outstanding Youth Volunteer Award and provide scholarships!
