在过去的15年里,中国在使用WTE工厂取代垃圾填埋方面取得了巨大的进展。目前,中国的WTE产能超过了欧盟、美国和日本的总和。此外,中国垃圾转能源工厂的“大规模生产“也明显降低了工厂的每吨投资成本(CAPEX),从而形成了一种可以被亚洲和非洲的发展中国家负担和采取的垃圾处理模式。
Climate change is receiving more and more attention. Waste-to-energy (WTE) is one of the key areas that can help address this issue. Over the past 15 years, China has made tremendous progress in using WTE plants to replace landfills. China's WTE capacity now exceeds that of the European Union, the United States, and Japan combined. In addition, the "mass production" of Chinese WTE plants has significantly reduced the cost per ton investment (CAPEX) of the plants, resulting in a model of waste disposal that can be afforded and adopted by developing countries in Asia and Africa.
5月18日-20日,哥大全球中心将联合全球废弃物能源化研究和技术委员会共同举办2022年亚洲废弃物能源化研究与技术会议。
本次会议邀请海内外相关领域的专家、学者,围绕垃圾能源化优点及推广、中国WTE模式的可复制性、国际合作途径、全球公共议程等议题,开展深入的学术讨论。
