报税日来了！你需要这样做

2021年度的报税截止日期为2022年4月18日。所有在2021年有收入的人士均需要在此之前提交纳税申报表。

持有F或J类签证的国际学生学者需将8843表格提交至美国税务局。若你在2021年没有收入，可在2022年6月15日前提交8843表格。了解报税详情：

The deadline for filing your 2021 tax returns is April 18, 2022. You have to file your tax before this date if you had income in 2021.

IRS also requires Form 8843 from all Fs and Js who are nonresident aliens for federal tax purposes and were physically in the U.S. at any time in 2021. If you didn't have income in 2021, you can file your form 8843 by June 15, 2022.

Academic Training is a benefit of J-1 student status that allows you to work for the purpose of applying knowledge and skills learned during your program of study. In response to the growing call to action to support the anti-racism movement and foster an inclusive community, this thematic discussion series, co-organized by Columbia Global Centers | Beijing and Columbia ISSO, aims to offer support, especially to Columbia University's Asian, Asian American, and Pacific Islander community, during this challenging time.
