Two Chemistry Faculty Named Among World's Most Highly Cited Researchers
根据 Clarivate Analytics 发布的一份名单， 梅隆科学学院的两名教员的研究被列为世界上引用次数最多的科研成果。Rongchao Jin 是化学系的教授，Matyjaszewski 是 J.C. Warner 科学自然教授，也是卡耐基梅隆大学大分子工程中心主任，两位被列为化学领域被引用次数最多的研究人员之一。
Jin 的研究主要是关于纳米化学，他以开发制造具有精确原子数的金纳米粒子技术而闻名。Matyjaszewski 则因开发原子转移自由基聚合而闻名于世，这种方法可以让科学家更细致精准地建构聚合物。

The research of two Mellon College of Science faculty is some of the world’s most highly cited in the sciences, according to a list published by Clarivate Analytics. Rongchao Jin, professor of chemistry, and Matyjaszewski, the J.C. Warner Professor of Natural Sciences and director of Carnegie Mellon’s Center for Macromolecular Engineering, were listed among the most cited researchers in the field of chemistry. 
Jin’s research focuses on nanochemistry, and he is well known for developing new methodologies to create gold nanoparticles with precise numbers of atoms. Matyjaszewski is known worldwide for developing atom transfer radical polymerization, a method that lets scientists carefully structure polymers.

Women of Excellence are champions of economic empowerment and diversity, provide the backbone of religious and educational organizations and are the driving force in politics and community service.
