2021年的申请，许多院校采取了GRE Optional 的申请政策，而到了2022年的申请，大部分院校仍旧是延用这个政策。
去年因为疫情，GRE&托福等线下考试暂停而导致考生们无法及时出分，所以学校提供GRE成绩可选择提交申请。但是，紧接着ETS就推出了家考 (Test At Home) 这样一个全新的考试模式，来暂时代替线下考试，尽管在去年的7月份线下考试已经逐步恢复，但是家考也一直沿用至今。
不得不说，这让GRE&托福考高分似乎已经成了一件比较容易的事情，各宣传网页上代考，保分等广告满天飞，导致留学圈对于GRE在家考的公平性，也存在着不少质疑。
有的学生虽然GPA不高，但是标化成绩高的惊人，还是用incredibly high来形容。所以招生关门可能也大致明白有的学生用了一些 “讨巧” 的办法拥有如此高分的成绩。所以今年的申请美国许多高校依旧是GRE Optional的政策，也不排除是因为家考成绩太水，招生官们还是持保留态度的原因。
那么，2022Fall无GRE申请到底保险吗？这个问题我们最后回答！
据不完全统计，下面汇总了部分2022美国研究生申请Top50内院校可免GRE提交申请的项目，先一起来看看吧！
UCB
加州大学伯克利分校近期宣布：2022研究生申请超过125个研究生项目可免除GRE提交，这其中包括了EECS、环境科学、政策与管理系、生物物理学、植物微生物等众多项目。
众所周知，UCB一直是国际生申请的香饽饽院校，其实早在今年5月份，加州系各大学学院就宣布将从2022年开始削减国际学生和州外学生的名额，而UCB又因为扩招人数问题而被地方法院判处了“冻结招生规模”的禁令，即在今后学校的最大入学人数不能超过现在的水平。
并且UCB在决定2022申请可免GRE提交的同时，也明确表示了“同时我们期待能制定更好的评估方法，除了减少对GRE的依赖，学校研究生部将与教职员工合作，改进研究生整体录取，并且关注各系研究生教育中的多元化和包容性。”
所以申请人数在上升，申请名额不变+GRE成绩免除，那么言外之意想必大家都懂，靠什么才能突出重围获得招生官的青睐呢！？😊

不设最低分数线但需要GRE分数。同时还说“绝大多数项目在录取过程中不再考虑GRE成绩”，很多项目不再作出硬性规定。
康奈尔大学
康奈尔商学院下的管理学硕士，2022Fall申请同样不要求GRE成绩，但是项目也明确提出，缺少标化成绩，招生办会通过其他申请材料来评估你的学术能力。

同学们在看申请要求的时候，一定要注意的是 “不需要” 和 “选择性提交”。不需要就是完全不需要了，交了不管好坏也不会考虑的那种，所以申请这类项目的话可以不用考GRE了。
但是众所周知，GRE硬性成绩是咱们中国学生的一个优势，成绩比较突出，不接受GRE成绩就代表这这将在申请中不会纳入招生考量的范围。而咱们能够直观给到招生官的硬性成绩就只剩下：
①、本科背景：本科院校+GPA;
②、TOEFL/IELTS成绩；
③、论文：很大一部分同学比较难在本科期间发表比较好的文章，所以对于一般申请者来说这一项可以忽略不计了。
本科院校基本已经无法改变了，如果说你的GPA也已经没有大幅度可以提升的机会了，那么考出一个分数高的语言成绩是很重要的。
此外，最重要的是，招生官将更加看重的你软实力，文书方面的展示。
但是“可选择”就有点内卷了，如果是选择提交，那么提交的GRE成绩就可能会被纳入考量，但是如果选择不提交，你的竞争对手也许会选择提交一个330+的分数呢！？？
我们建议在可选择提交GRE的项目申请中，能够提交一个有竞争力的分数，在申请是绝对是锦上添花的！
毕竟活生生的例子摆在眼前：
根据2021Fall的申请，咱们藤校的学员录取案例以及同学们反馈上来的情况表明，差不多同样的背景申请的两个人，偏偏人家的录取结果就比另一个申请者的offer大牛的多，因为人家提供了一个GRE330+的成绩！！！
记得咱们获得公卫专排第一JHU offer 的J同学，同时还获得了哥大、密歇根、UCLA等名校的录取。但是同申MPH的另一个同学，没有GRE成绩，相比较而言，录取结果就有明显的差别了。
