英国6%的感染数据来源于Delta新变异病毒
官员们正在密切关注导致越来越多感染病例的德尔塔变种Covid的新变异。
Delta是英国的主要变体，但最新官方数据表明，经基因测序的Covid病例中，有6%属于新类型。
被称为“Delta +”的AY.4.2可能含有病毒带来优势的突变成分。目前科学家正在进行测试，以了解它可能造成多大的威胁。
专家表示，这种病毒不太可能逃过目前的疫苗免疫。
但是，它还没有被认为是一个值得关注的变异，具体的情况还在调查。

英国音乐界近1/3的人因新冠疫情而失业
新的报告显示，音乐行业近三分之一的人因疫情而失业。
英国音乐贸易组织表示，由于该行业在应对Covid-19的毁灭性影响，6.9万个工作岗位被裁。
根据该组织的报告《2021年这就是音乐》，该行业的就业人数从2019年的19.7万人下降到2020年的12.8万人，降幅为35%。
这导致成千上万的音乐创作者、工作人员和其他人离开这个行业，前往其他行业。许多人仍然致力于音乐事业，但需要意味着寻找其他收入来源。”

牛津大学科学家正在研究针对Delta变异疫苗
牛津大学萨拉·吉尔伯特教授团队的成员已经开始了早期的疫苗研究工作，新疫苗的设计目的是在准备一些可以扩大规模的疫苗产量。

英国的新冠肺炎感染病例比西班牙高17倍
最新数据显示，英国每百万人的病例数是德国的5倍多，是西班牙的17倍。

此前，卫生部昨天宣布了自7月20日以来冠状病毒病例的最大单日增幅，24小时内超过4.5万人检测呈阳性。
这引发了人们对政府在英格兰实施“B计划”的呼吁，恢复在室内强制佩戴口罩，鼓励在家工作，并引入疫苗护照。
Our World In Data的研究发现，在截至周五的7天里，英国的感染率为每百万人589.68人。
相比之下，德国为104.20人，西班牙为71.02人，意大利为40.68人，而实施了更严格冠状病毒防控措施的西班牙仅为32.91人。
英国每百万人的死亡人数也是西班牙、意大利和法国的三倍多。

什么是英国新冠B计划?
SAGE成员、封锁设计师尼尔•弗格森教授警告称:“进入冬季，可能需要实施B计划。
如果不断上升的病例数量没有好转，唐宁街10号不排除使用备选B方案。英国政府已经开始看到一些疫情扩散的迹象，住院和死亡率正在上升，政府也正在密切关注不断上升的病例率。
A计划包括为50岁以上和其他弱势群体注射加强疫苗，为12至15岁的青少年提供第一剂疫苗，并建议他们在封闭空间戴口罩。
B计划包括强制性的口罩归还（包括在学校），活动场馆的强制性疫苗护照，以及在家工作。

英国新增49156例病例6周以来最高值，45死亡
新冠肺炎确诊病例达到49156例，创6周以来的新高。
上周，英国的感染人数达到40224人，创下了夏季过后5周以来的新高。
现在，在24小时内，周一又确诊了49156例新感染病例。
在Covid-19检测呈阳性的28天内，确定了45例死亡。这使英国的死亡总数达到138629人。
