实验室与岗位职责介绍
Dr. Mengya Xia
at the Department of Psychology at the University of Alabama is recruiting a Ph.D. student in the developmental science concentration of Psychology program in Fall, 2022.

Research in Dr. Mengya's lab (https://mxia.people.ua.edu/dreams-lab.html) focuses on understanding ways to promote child and adolescent well-being in the family context and other ecological systems from the person-centered and transactional dynamic approaches. Our research emphasizes ways of fostering adolescent relationship health, social-emotional development, competence, and character strengths, and flourishing as a whole. Currently, my lab has several ongoing projects: F.E.E.L.ING (Family Enhancing Emotion and Interpersonal Competence and Strengths for Adolescent Well-BeING) project, love project, social connection, and well-being study, and other cross-culture studies. More about my work can be found here (https://mxia.people.ua.edu/; https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Mengya-Xia).
The program guarantees funding for at least 4 years via research/teaching assistantships and/or scholarships, having summer stipends available, and conference travel funds. For more information regarding application, please visit the Graduate Admissions Process in the Psychology Department website, and Apply through the Graduate School website.
