Description
  • As a factory automation software engineer, you will partner with process technology and manufacturing engineers to create integrated software systems that improve manufacturing output and productivity for all of Intel's world-wide Substrate, Die Prep, Sort, Assembly, Test and Board manufacturing plants.
  • These state-of-the-art systems control factory equipment, track the product as it moves through the factory, measures product features, detect defects, handle materials, collect and analyze data, optimize factory scheduling and enable efficient factory operations.

We are in search of a skilled Software Engineer candidate to join our Visual, Edge and Integration (VEI) SW Engineering team in Intel's Data Platforms Group. VEI defines and delivers optimized Media and Graphics based offerings which include Media Transcode, 2D and 3D platforms, for dedicated Servers, Appliances or Virtualized Cloud environments. 
We build the software stack that helps companies deliver solutions for Media and Media transcode - Media content creation and delivery, Cloud graphics - Cloud Gaming, Remote desktop and remote workstations, Media analytics and Immersive Media AR/VR content generation and delivery. In addition to integrating these workloads with Network/Edge infrastructure for scale deployment, we are looking for strong SW Engineer to join our growing team!

Daily Tasks Include But Not Limited To
  • Candidate will be responsible for developing, validating and deploying platform enabling SW and E2E SW stacks for the Visual experiences in an agile environment.
  • Candidate will work with cross-functional, cross-geo teams to design, develop and deploy Media/Graphics/Immersive Media SW stack.
