尽管特朗普已允许美国白宫开启权力交接程序，但仍在指控2020年美国大选存在“选举欺诈”，不认可民主党籍候选人拜登的胜利。
11月30日早晨，特朗普在推特上说：“我不是为自己而战，我是为投给我的74万亿（74,000,000,000,000原文如此）人而战，这还不包括那些被‘扔掉’的特朗普选票。这是为现任总统投票的最高纪录！”特朗普想表达的意思应为“7400万人“，但他似乎输入错误，写成了“74万亿”。
据美国有线电视新闻网（CNN）统计，获得306张选举人票的拜登在选民票上获得了80026721票，获得232张选举人票的特朗普在选民票上获得了73890295票，均创下了美国总统选举中候选人得票的历史记录。
29日上午，特朗普接受《福克斯新闻》采访时表示，美国司法部和联邦调查局（FBI）“可能参与”了“操纵选举”的阴谋。特朗普在采访中表示，“这个国家正在发生的事情难以置信。”他在采访中说道，“这次选举被操纵了，完全是一场骗局。如果你是司法部和联邦调查局的人，这是你应该关注的事情（指大选被“操纵”）。”

-If you count the legal votes, I easily win. If you count the illegal votes, they can try to steal the election from us.
-False. The votes being counted were legally cast on or before Election Day. Trump often equates votes for Democrats as illegal.
-This was an election that we won easily. We won it by a lot. This election was rigged and we can't let that happen.
-False. Trump lost decisively with Biden earning 306 electoral votes to Trump's 232. That's the same margin that Trump had when he defeated Hillary Clinton in 2016 in what he called a "landslide."
-And this election has to be turned around because we won Pennsylvania by a lot and we won all of these swing states by a lot.
-False. Biden won Pennsylvania by a margin of nearly 81,000 votes. He also won Arizona by about 10,500 votes, Wisconsin by more than 20,000 votes, and Michigan by more than 150,000 votes. All results have been certified.
-So poll watchers are very important. Our poll watchers didn't just get set back, which they did, they got thrown out of buildings in different states. They were thrown out of -- and this is a well-coordinated attack.
-Trump's legal team has repeatedly failed to prove that GOP poll watchers were blocked from monitoring vote counts. Courts in Pennsylvania and Michigan have ruled that local officials acted within state election law.
-You have a governor named Ducey who just rushed, put together faster, he just rushed to sign certificates so that Kelly gets into the Senate as soon as possible. What's that all about? He didn't have to sign it. I say why would he sign when you have these incredible hearings going on that's showing such corruption.
-False. Trump has repeatedly alleged fraud in Arizona's mail-in ballot system without proof. He's also attacked Governor Doug Ducey for certifying results causing Ducey to publicly defend the system's election system.
