自上周开始，明州卫生署每周四更新“爆发新冠疫情”（两周内报告5例及以上）的学校名单。这份名单目前已有11所学校在列，卫生署声明28天内无新增病例才会将其从名单中移除。
10月8日新增加的4所学校包括：
  • Horizon Middle School (Moorhead,Clay County)
  • Grand Rapids Senior High (Itasca County)
  • Roosevelt Elementary (Willmar,Kandiyohi County)
  • Rocori Senior High (Cold Spring,Stearns County)
10月1日公布的第一批名单（7所学校）仍然在列：
  • Brainerd High School (Crow Wing County)
  • Albert Lea High School (Freeborn County)
  • Isanti Middle School (Isanti County)
  • Fairmont Jr./Sr. High School (MartinCounty)
  • Martin Luther High School (Martin County)
  • St. Paul Lutheran School (Martin County)
  • Hinckley Elementary (Pine County)
