韩联社10日凌晨援引韩国警方消息称，9日夜间至10日凌晨，警方在首尔北岳山一带发现了9日失踪的首尔市长朴元淳的遗体。

警方称，尸体未呈现他杀迹象，将按照自杀案件的程序进行调查。

Seoul Mayor Park Won-soon was found dead in Seoul on Friday, hours after he was reported missing, Yonhap News Agency said citing the police.

A police search team found his body in the forested hills of Mount Bukak near his official residence, one minute after midnight. He is presumed to have taken his own life.
"(The body) did not show particular signs of homicide," a police official said, noting that an investigation will be conducted in accordance with procedures for a suicide.

据韩国媒体报道，朴元淳女儿9日下午5点17分向警方报案说，朴元淳当天留下类似遗言的话后离家，之后失去联系，手机关机。

Park's daughter filed the missing report to police at 5:17 pm local time Thursday, saying he "left home four to five hours ago after leaving words like a will and his phone is currently turned off."

据了解，朴元淳市长于9日上午10时44分左右从位于首尔钟路区的官邸离开。外出时戴着黑色帽子，身穿深色夹克、黑裤子和灰色鞋子，并背着一个黑色背包。根据对其手机定位追踪发现，朴市长的手机信号最后显示的位置是在首尔城北区某地，此后便失去信号。

The mayor left his residence in central Seoul at about 10:44 am local time Thursday, wearing black clothes and carrying a black backpack. His mobile phone signal was last detected near a temple in northern Seoul.

外出前，他曾向记者们群发短信表示，因不得已的原因将取消原定行程。首尔市政府方面的消息说，由于近来身体不适，朴元淳取消了9日的工作日程。

▌曾被前秘书告发性骚扰

据韩联社报道，64岁的首尔市长朴元淳失踪前一天，其前任秘书于8日晚间，向警方指控朴元淳利用职务之便对她性骚扰，并表示“还有很多受害者”。警方尚未确定该秘书陈述是否属实，也无法确定朴元淳是否知道自己遭告发。

Park, 64, had reportedly faced a probe into allegations of sexual harassment against a former female secretary. She filed a formal complaint with the police on Wednesday over unwanted "physical contact" and "inappropriate" messages from Park, according to sources.
