Hi, this is David Chang, CEO and founder of G-MEO. I want to welcome you to our virtual campus. 
同学们好，我是美国极妙教育（G-MEO）的创始人和CEO，Dr. David Chang。欢迎你们来到G-MEO的2020暑期虚拟校园。
As you know, our Chengdu American Center has been running a very robust summer school, offering courses to American kids who want to enjoy their study abroad experience in China and also to Chinese International students like yourself returning home for the summer. 
如你们所知，我们的成都美国海外留学中心在每年夏天会举办美国大学暑期学分和实习项目，欢迎美国的学生来中国游学，同时也欢迎像你们一样的中国国际学生回到自己的家乡，度过一个有意义的暑假。
This year,  however, we decided to switch to delivering courses online, certainly because of the COVID-19 crisis. Having said that, I'm very pleased to share with you that we have recruited as a truly outstanding group of faculty to join us. They not only have many years of teaching online experience but many of them, in fact, are pursuing active learning paradigms-- how to deliver that online. 
今年，因为Covid-19全球危机，我们将全部课程上线。为呈现高质量的课程，我们邀请来自美国名校的优秀教授来组成学术团队，共同追求积极的教学方法，尤其是在线上学习的环境下。
So I'm sure you will not only enjoy the flexibility to listen to the lectures at your leisure. Perhaps you are wearing pajamas in your living room for instance. But I'm sure you also enjoy the kind of live classes that we have also scheduled where you can interact with your students, your faculty, your fellow students, and your faculty members actively by the way of zoom. 
我相信，你们不仅可以在灵活的课程讲座安排中学习，还可以通过Zoom的直播讨论课与你的同学、教授交流。

The second thing I'd like to share with you is this. I attended a video conference with speakers from a Chinese University, American universities. And the topic interestingly is how COVID-19 could change the landscape of higher education, for that matter, what so International education. I think the participants of this conference all agree that distance learning is not only a necessity at the time of this crisis. But in fact, it could be very effective and will become a part of teaching and learning in universities, large or small. 
我想与你们分享的第二点是，我在前不久参加了关于covid-19如何改变高等教育与国际教育的视频会议，与中国和美国大学的教职人员共聚一堂。与会教育家们谈到远程教育不仅是疫情下的产物，更会或多或少的在未来高等教育中占据一席之位。

Having also that observation, I think I also for those of you, who are currently in China, or in fact, will be planning to return to China this summer, I need to share with you the other concern of theirs. They are very concerned about what happened to their students returning to campus if the travel restriction is not removed by then. So, what do they need to do? Guess what, online courses. So you can see that it is something you will have to get you now and in the future. 
你们其中很多人已经回到了中国，或者马上计划回国。很多学校的老师担心如果因为出行受限，同学们无法按时回到美国。那么，大家需要做什么？想必你们已经猜到了，那就是继续线上学习。所以你可以发现，线上学习无论在现在这一分钟，还是未来，都是重要的学习渠道。
