We are in an unprecedented global public health crisis, and the impact is not just specific to human health. According to many studies from leading financial institutions, this COVID-19 crisis can trigger a global economic depression, which will exert a profound and broad impact to every aspect of our lives. Start-ups are at the forefront of fighting this upcoming economy crisis. In this talk, the MIT CEO Energy Community team invited Eric Kish, who has 20 years of CEO experience, to share his perspective and advice on how to steer a start-up companies through an economic crisis.

Eric Kish (CEO of Nanoramic Laboratories)
Eric Kish 是Nanoramic Laboratories的CEO，这是一家位于波士顿的初创公司，专注于能源存储和新材料技术的应用。在加入Nanoramic Laboratories之前，Eric有着长达20年任职CEO经验，跨度3个大洲5个行业，对处于不同阶段和规模的初创公司进行运营和管理。在他担任首席执行官期间，他成功转型并扩大了12家公司的规模，其中两家公司的营收和估值从数百万美元增至数十亿美元。

Eric Kish is the CEO of Nanoramic Laboratories, a Boston based start-up company focusing on new material technology for energy storage and other applications. Prior to joining Nanoramic, Eric had 20 years experience as CEO, transforming and scaling organizations at various stages of development in 5 industries across 3 continents. During his tenure as CEO he managed to transform and scale 12 companies, two of them from millions to billions in revenue and valuation.
He is also a regular speaker on the subject of scalability and turnarounds, with 2 books written on the subject and a practice that promotes business execution education. From 5 to 50 to 500, and Everyday Turnaround, providing advice and business execution education to companies interested in scaling.
