009 《记“疫”碎片》

武汉封城之后，为了进一步防止人员外出造成的疫情扩散，对各个小区进行封闭。第一阶段每个小区都只留一个出入口，对进出人员测量体温、登记。第二阶段，除工作需要和疫情防控需要，所有人员不得进出小区。为此，各市直机关、企业派出员工进入社区协助防控，对外出人员进行管控。

限制居民外出之后，不少人选择网购生活物资，社区也组织居民团购物资由商家配送到小区。这时候快递员和外卖小哥就像猎人一样在城市森林里奔波，再讲猎物送到千家万户。（不知道这个比喻恰不恰当，其实更像《死亡搁浅》）。感谢互联网，让人们在疫情中多了一种生存的方法。

小区第二阶段封闭前，不少居民独自外出购买生活物资。一部分不会网购的中老年人还是选择独自外出采购。

这组图片来自2020年在中国上海爆发冠状病毒期间。 由于春节期间上海本来就人少，现在又爆发了病毒，我决定在晚高峰时间拍摄上海地铁系统。 我在2020年2月2日至2月12日，16:04至18:53之间拍摄了这些照片。 在上海生活了5年，看到没人的地方，有点超现实的感觉。 每天一千零六十万人通过上海的地铁系统(aldama，2017年)。这一切好像在半夜。
This series of images are from the 2020 Coronavirus outbreak in Shanghai, China. With the absence of people in Shanghai for the Spring Festival and now the virus outbreak, I decided to document the Shanghai metro system during the height of evening rush hour. I photographed these images between February 2 and February 12, 2020 between 16:04 and 18:53. Having lived in Shanghai for 5 years, the absence of people anywhere was somewhat surreal. 10.6 million people typically pass through Shanghai’s metro system daily (Aldama, 2017). It seemed as though it was the middle of the night.

讲述了一个抗击病毒爆发的人们的故事。 用他的镜头记录了世界，我们不会看到，如果我们站的不那么近。 他能在非常时期捕捉到人们的日常生活程序。
Matt’s photos tell a story of the individuals who were unseen fighting the outbreak. With the use of a zoom lens Matt peers into the world we would not see if we stood at a closer glance. He was able to capture the normal daily procedures during an extraordinary time.

Matt 是来自南非摄影师，在中国生活了3年。 在搬到上海之前，他最初住在河北省会石家庄。 他游历了中国大部分地区，尽可能多地接触西方文明没有触及的当地文化。
Matt is a South African photographer who has been lived in China for the past 3 years. He first lived in Shijiazhuang ,the capital of Hebei Province before moving to Shanghai. Having travelled most of China he has tried engaging in the local culture as much as possible that is untouched by Western civilization.
