我们穿过这个世界，望向空荡荡的街。
稀疏平常的街变的糟乱、抖动、不安。
我们结伴在黑暗中前行着。
这个世界是真实的吗。
破局之后，亦有春天来到。
We walked through this world and looked at the empty street.
The sparse and ordinary streets became messy, jittery and disturbed.
We walked together in the dark.
Is this world real?
After the break, there was also spring.

对于这次疫情内心有许多话想说，因此设计了由病毒、坚守、治愈为背景的一组海报，字体中越来越少的黑点代表了疫情的逐渐好转。并用三篇抒情散文表达了对于贪欲的厌恶、对于医护人员的致敬以及对于美好生活的向往。冬天会结束，疫情也会结束，2020会越来越好。
There are many things to say about this epidemic, so a set of posters with a background of a virus, persistence, and a cure were designed. Fewer and fewer black dots are in the font to represent the gradual improvement of the epidemic. Three lyric essays were used to express aversion to greed, tribute to medical staff and longing for a better life. Winter will end, the epidemic will end, and 2020 will get better and better.

疫情期间人们的生活千篇一律，每天重复着同样的事情，但是生活仍然充满希望，仍然有美好的未来。这张海报大概是疫情期间很多人内心的真实写照，循环往复却五彩斑斓。
During the epidemic, people's lives were unchanged with the same routines repeated every day. Their lives were still filled with hope of a bright future. This poster is probably a true portrayal of many people during the epidemic.

这幅画体现出我在面对这次疫情时的心情，既有面对人祸时无能为力的焦急感，又有对社会上突然迸发的种种怪异甚至是离谱的事件的愤怒，以及被强制憋在家中的烦闷。我想这应该不仅仅是我一个人的心情，也是许多人的心情。希望疫情能快点结束。
This painting reflects my mood in the face of this epidemic, both anxiety of being helpless in the face of human calamities. I felt anger towards all kinds of weird and even outrageous events that suddenly burst out in society, which forced myself to succumb to depression in my home. I think this is not only my mood, but also the mood of many people. I hope the epidemic will end soon.

病毒席卷全球，以其火热的身影冷眼旁观这场由全球人共同出演的混沌剧作，诚如置你我于一室，一呼一吸一举一动均关乎他者，彼此监视着也闪躲着。在可见的角力跟恐惧中，日常如是继续，生死在发生，亲昵无所惧，亦阻挡不了荒诞、谎言与饮食的必须。
The virus goes around the world and look at the chaos that it has caused with its infamous figure. As if it has placed us all in one single room, where every movements of each can effect others enormously. Spying and hiding became our ordinary action. However, life goes on even under all the fear and battle. Birth and death, hug and kiss, lies and foods, not to mention those absurd but unseen secrets.

毕业于英国诺桑比亚大学。曾投身艺术拍卖行业与广告产业，现为专司儿童绘本的自由插画家与品牌设计师。关注社会议题与中华文化的推广，期望透过画作纪录当下并带来省思、感动的力量。

Hongru Chen graduated from Northumbria University. He is involved in the art auction industry and advertising industry, and is now a freelance illustrator and brand designer specializing in children's picture books. Concerned about social issues and the promotion of Chinese culture, he hopes to use the paintings to record these moments and bring the power of reflection and emotion.

在冠状病毒爆发期间，我绘制了‘映像丽水’系列。创作某种意义上平复了这段特殊时期所给我带来的焦躁。与此同时，这系列作品也反映了我公寓外的世界：安静又凄凉。更重要的是，这些作品让我回想起去年六月同我的艺术老师和导师于实地旅游的场景。看着这些由我自己完成的丽水素描，勾起了对那段祥和岁月的追忆。
The series ‘Reflections on Lishui’ was painted during the outbreak of Coronavirus. Painting them made me calm down during this time of madness. They actually reflected the world outside my apartment; quiet and deserted. They also brought back memories of a field trip I took with my art teacher and mentor in June last year. My sketches of Lishui reminded me of peaceful times.

My name is Karolina, Rulan is my pseudonym name, I have lived in China for almost 13 years (mostly in Shanghai) and I have started painting using Chinese ink-wash technique 7 years ago. I am fascinated with Asia, mesmerized with Chinese ink and wash painting. I focus on landscape painting.

Creativity is based on the unity of the Chinese nation. They ride a red Chinese dragon and gallop forward, implying our strength and determination to win this "battle". We the Chinese nation are brave and united, fearless of danger, and jointly bring down the "enemies" that harm humanity.
