May the Chinese youth shed off the coldness brought by the words of the violent ones and those who abandoned us. Let the youth lift their heads and walk forwards. In this moment do what you can by using your voice. There is a little bit of heat and a little bit of light, and just like fireflies it can also glow a little in the dark without waiting for a torch. Since then there is no torch: I am the only light.

疫情面前需要大爱,把爱字下部分置换成武汉的简称“汉”字,体现爱武汉、助武汉的理念。原创手写的书法,灰黑红简洁的色彩和线条的渐变使画面有动感和强烈的视觉冲击力。
A love is needed before the epidemic situation. Part of the word "love" is replaced with the abbreviation "Chinese" in Wuhan, which reflects the concept of love Wuhan and helping Wuhan. 矿工灯在黑暗中的样子格外耀眼,陪伴着我读书,给我力量。在疫情期间,大家犹如在黑暗中摸索一样,空气中充斥着安静的无望;我希望每人都能在自己心里戴上一顶矿工灯,为书本照亮,为自己的心照亮。我相信困难一定会过去,就像黑夜即将过去那样,黎明就在不远方。
The miner's lamp looks particularly dazzling in the dark, accompanied me to read and gave me strength. During the epidemic, everyone feels as if groping in the dark, and the air is filled with quiet hopelessness; I hope everyone can put on a miner's lamp in their hearts to light up the books and their hearts. 拍摄时间是过年期间的一天下午,过年期间正是人们出去活动和走亲戚的时候,因为疫情,街道的人气很少,显得有些萧瑟。北方的冬天还是有点冷的,人们都穿着厚厚的羽绒服与大衣,都把自己包裹的严严实实的,街上的人即使互相认识也不谈话,不拜年问好。
照片是典型北方农村街景,笔直的电线杆与错乱的电线把整个村连接了起来,人们很少出门,大门经常关着,街上只有稀稀落落几个人,地上又起了几阵冷风,把人相互拜年的习惯吹散了。
The shooting time is during the Spring Festival. One day in the afternoon during the Spring Festival people would go out to have a walk. However, due to the epidemic, the street  has seldom Tao people making the atmosphere bleak. In the north it's still a bit cold. People are wearing thick down jackets with big clothes, wrapping themselves tightly. Sure enough, the people on the street recognize each other, however, we do not talk to each other, nor pay New Year's greetings to say hello.
The picture is typical of the north with its rural street scenes, and straight poles. The whole village is connected with the disordered electric wireAfter that, people rarely went out. The gate is always closed, and the street has only a few people scattered around. A few cold blasts of wind came up, turning people to each other. The custom of paying New Year's greetings has been blown away.

疫情期间,这村里的书记不少忙活,又是拉横幅,又是封路,又是大喇叭讲话的。这张照片是中国新农村建设的示范点,桥的对面是村里新引进的风力发电机,使一望无际的天空多了些新事物。在村与村之间是用厚土阻隔着,禁止人出行,在桥的尽头与厚土前面有一位中年人不知道在等待什么,后面有一个辆家用推车。冷风吹着发电机叶片,掀起一层薄薄的黄土,使得中年人的手伸进了裤兜,他眯着眼凝视着远方,在桥的尽头留下了他笔直的身影。而这等待的身影显得格外的孤独。照片是在过年期间拍摄的,照片里出现辆小推车,我猜应该是等待置办年货,或者在等待自己的家人吧。
During the epidemic, many secretaries in the village were busy with banners, road closures, and loud speakers. This photo is a demonstration site for the construction of a new rural area in China. Opposite the bridge is a newly introduced wind turbine in the village, which makes the endless sky more new. Between the villages is blocked by thick soil, and people are prohibited from traveling. At the end of the bridge and in front of the thick soil, there is a middle-aged person who is waiting for nothing, and a family cart is behind. The cold wind blew the generator blades and lifted a thin layer of loess, making the middle-aged man's hand reach into his pants pocket. He squinted and stared into the distance, leaving his straight figure at the end of the bridge, and the waiting figure seemed extra lonely. The photo was taken during the Chinese New Year. A small cart appears in the photo. I guess it is waiting for the New Year's goods or waiting for your family.

照片拍摄于疫情最紧张的时期,地点是柏油路堤坡上。照片里的人带着厚厚的口罩,骑着车子,破败柏油路使得骑电动车的人来推车上斜坡。灰色的天空穿插着两根连结远方的电线,空唠唠的树杈与矮矮的麦田消失在地平线上,车行驶的前方是家的方向。我用摄影记录了疫情期间人们回家的场景。
The photo was taken during the most stressful period of the epidemic, on the slope of the embankment. The man in the photo was wearing a thick mask, riding the car, and the broken asphalt road caused the electric biker to come up the ramp. The gray sky is interspersed with two wires connecting the distance, empty tree branches and short wheat fields disappear on the horizon, and the car is driving in the direction of home. I used photography to record people going home during the epidemic.

照片拍摄于疫情的时期,灰蒙蒙的天空,多了些狂风,吹着摇摆不定的树杈,灰色的麦田延伸到地平线,田中的小路上老大爷推电车,大妈在后面走着,大爷大妈相离不远,没有说话,听见推车大爷喘息声。当时拍着照片有些压抑与无奈,但又感到老夫老妻面对疫情的平凡与淡然。
The photo was taken during the epidemic period. The gray sky was a bit more windy making the tree branches sway in the wind. The gray-green wheat field stretched to the horizon. The old man pushed the tram on the road in Tanaka, as the aunt walked behind him. Even though they were not far from each other they still did not speak to each other. At the time, taking pictures was somewhat depressing and helpless, but I felt that the husband and wife were ordinary and indifferent in the face of the epidemic.

疫情期间,又是过年期间。村与村的界限被土包隔离的这么明显,使得村与村相互封锁,互不往来,然而在中间隔离区,桥上有母子俩前后结伴而行。每当春节刚过,农村习俗流行回娘家,母亲带着孩子走在不能开车的回娘家路上,孩子跑到前面,些许是高兴的原因吧,孩子满头大汗,母亲在后面小步撵着。母亲与孩子都没有提着过年的礼品,或许是疫情使小商铺关门了吧。疫情与过年时间相撞上了,显得人们这年过的简单,回家路上多些无奈萧瑟。
The epidemic period is another period marking the New Year. The boundaries between the villages was so obvious. However, in the middle of the isolation zone, there are mothers and children on the bridge. Whenever the Chinese New Year just passed, the rural customs to return to her parents’ home had the mother carrying the child back to her parents. The child runs to the front with a little bit of joy. Neither the mother nor the child have brought New Year's gifts. Perhaps the epidemic forced small shops to close. The epidemic and the New Year's time collided, it seems that people have had a simple life this year, and there is more helplessness on the way home.

在农村过春节时候,家家户户贴不少的春联,贴春联的时候,更不会忘记贴挡病挡灾的门神了。但这户人家的门神因为疫情,却贴着这么潦草,没有对齐,有的地方没有粘上,而大门也是紧锁关着,疫情期间的年显得这么不尽人意。人们对门神的美好期待在疫情面前显得这么不堪一击。

During the Spring Festival in the countryside, every family puts up a lot of Spring Festival couplets. When sticking on the Spring Festival couplets, they won’t forget to stick on the door god of disease and disaster. However, because of the epidemic, the door god of this family was so scribbled, misaligned, and some places were not glued, and the door was locked and closed. The years during the epidemic seemed so unsatisfactory. People's good expectations of the door god seemed so vulnerable in the face of the epidemic.

疫情期间,当我看到关于疫情缘由的时候,感到费解与恐慌。当得知有人因这场病毒感染死亡的时候,感到人的渺小与脆弱。人对自己生存的环境的认知少的可怜。人类不断的探索生存环境,在占有自然资源的时候,却不知道自己对自然知道甚少。我用抽象的方式对蝙蝠进行艺术的处理,用两只倒挂的蝙蝠的抽象形象,又用两只蝙蝠错落负空间行成诡异的人脸来警示我们。
During the epidemic, when I saw the cause of the epidemic, I felt puzzled and panicked. When I learned that someone had died from the virus infection, I felt that the person was small and vulnerable. People have poor understanding of their own living environment. Human beings are constantly exploring the living environment. When they possess natural resources, they do know very little about nature. I used bats in an abstract way to deal with art, use the abstract image of two bats upside down, and warn us with two bats staggering negative space into strange human faces.

在疫情期间,为了使自己与家人不要恐慌害怕,自己上网不断学习,补充自己对新型冠状病毒的空白。看到病毒带给人类的危害,有感而发创作了《病毒》这件作品,我把病毒破坏细胞的过程用艺术的手法表现在创作上。
During the epidemic, in order not to panic and fear for yourself and your family, you continued to study online to supplement gaps in life because of the  coronavirus. Seeing the harm the virus caused to human beings, I created the work "Virus", and I expressed the process of the virus destroying cells with artistic methods in my creation.

这幅画的名字叫《在这里》,创作于二月初,我刚刚接触到新冠病毒的消息时,在两周的隔离期里,我每天都会揣摩我的画,让我的思想引领创作。
This painting is called “Inside Here” I painted it during early February while the virus was still trying to be understood. Each day for 2 weeks of quarantine, I visited my painting and let my thoughts lead the creation.

“现在是什么”是14天自我隔离结束时的画作。我想用这些颜色来画一幅画,这就是我的想法。我所有的画都是由我当时的思想和情感所引导的。
在隔离期间,有一个问题一直困扰着我,那就是:现在会发生什么?
“What Now” is the painting that emerged at the end of a 14 day self quarantine. I wanted to do a painting with these colors and this is what developed. All of my paintings are led by my thoughts and emotions at the time. 
During the quarantine, one question that plagued my mind was, What will happen now?

Kimberly Cudd is an American artist living in Shanghai. She is active in the artist community here and participates in many groups. Most recently, she was invited to hold her first solo exhibition at the Suzhou Art Collective. The exhibit was called, "Finding Joy" and focused on the process of regaining childlike joy through art.

作品通过发芽的藤蔓造型将病毒图形包围,寓意生命力顽强,在充满爱和希望的氛围中,我们终将战胜病毒,最终获得战疫胜利,整个藤蔓的造型又是一个“0”的造型,寓意病例零新增。
The work projects the virus graphic through the sprouting vine shape, which means that vitality is tenacious. In an atmosphere full of love and hope, we will finally defeat the virus and finally win the epidemic. The shape of the entire vine is a "0" shape. There are no new cases.

作品以三维形态的红十字造型构成一个网格状的空间,病毒被困在网格中,战疫是一场没有硝烟的战争,我们要不分国界、种族和性别,没有歧视、没有恐惧,共同抗击疫情,终将取得战疫的胜利
The work uses a three-dimensional red cross shape to form a grid-like space. The virus is trapped in the grid. The war epidemic is a war without gunpowder. We need to distinguish between national borders, race and gender, without discrimination, without fear. Fighting the epidemic together will ultimately lead to victory in the epidemic.

肺炎疫情期间救助我们的很多医生,志愿者,我们看不清他们的面庞,不知道他们的名字,也许以后也不会再相遇,而正是这些无名者在拯救帮助我们。我们非常感激这些来自全国各地的救星,志愿者。
During the pneumonia epidemic, many doctors, and volunteers helped us in order to save our lives. However with their brave efforts we can't see their faces, we don't know their names or who they are. Maybe they are our friends, our relatives or neighbors, or perhaps they’re just some strangers who we will never meet again. We are very grateful to these rescuers and volunteers from all over the country.
