学校简介

东北大学(Northeastern University），简称NEU，是位于美国东北部马萨诸塞州波士顿市的一所著名研究型私立大学。东北大学由八个学院组成，有65个系具备本科学历授予资质。它有125个专业提供了研究生教育，可以授予硕士、博士和职业教育学位。学校2014年收到捐赠达到7亿美元。

东北大学成立于1898年。它的突出优势为跨学科研究、地处大都市、课堂学习与实践相结合的教学方式。东北大学的优势项目是实习项目CO-OP，与很多企业有合作关系，学生有机会在波士顿当地找到很多实习工作，积累实习经验。东北大学的学校排名不断提升，原因是学校领导层锐意进取，近年来，东北大学在北卡州的夏洛特市和华盛顿州的西雅图市都建造了新的校区，是跨美国东西的大型高等教育机构。东北大学在2020年USNEWS里的排名全美第40。属于美国国家一级大学。

本科大一的录取率为19.34%，其中，28711里男性申请者里录取5436位，33561女性申请者里录取6606位。由此看出女生申请NEU的人数相较于男生多一些。

高中教学严格程度，GPA，标化成绩、申请文书以及推荐信是学校在审阅学生材料最重要的考量因素，被认为“非常重要”，班级排名、课外活动、面试、个人才能、个性以及志愿者工作、工作经验也同样是“重要”的因素。

申请学位时，需要提交SAT、ACT或SAT subject（部分专业）考试成绩。

NEU接受SAT & ACT。在18 Fall 录取的新生中，93.73%的学生取得了600+的SAT reading & writing成绩。其中63.23%的学生在700+的成绩；73.09%分数为700+数学成绩。提交的ACT的分数比例中，93.80%左右分数在30+。总体而言，NEU对SAT/ACT的分数要求相对还是非常高的。

Construction management is a broad and complex discipline that integrates the multiple stages of large-scale construction projects with the detailed technology and knowledge needed to complete them. In this concentration, you learn to approach and lead construction projects from a sustainable and holistic perspective. You'll be exposed not only to technical engineering concepts but also to a much broader application of these concepts as they relate to large and complex projects. You'll learn and apply ideas related to construction project control and organization, sustainable design and technologies in construction, logistics, resource management, incorporating technological and business innovation, and economic and environmental viability.

MS Chemical Engineering 项目

项目简介

Students pursuing a master's in Chemical Engineering at Northeastern University develop an in-depth understanding of the fundamental principles of chemical engineering and gain expertise in modern topics in the field through select elective courses. The overarching goal of this rich research and educational experience is to mentor and to equip our students to become future leaders in engineering and science, while simultaneously promoting scholarly achievement for both the faculty and students.

The non-thesis MS degree is offered as either a full-time or part-time program to make it more accessible to students pursuing concurrent industrial careers. Students pursuing the non-thesis MS degree may, in exceptional cases, apply and seek admission to pursue a thesis MS degree following their first term of enrollment in the graduate program.
