弟弟哈里王子终于亲身体会到了升级的感觉
梅根生啦！

梅根于5月6日生产，宝宝7磅3盎司重（6斤多），母子平安！
按照惯例，在白金汉宫（Buckingham Palace）的前院，工作人员摆出“皇榜”。
“The Queen and the royal family are delighted at the news that Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex was safely delivered of a son at 0526am today. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well.”

“苏塞克斯公爵夫人今晨5点26分顺利产子，女皇陛下和整个王室十分喜悦。公爵夫人殿下和她的孩子母子平安。”
伦敦地标英国电信塔（BT tower）打出了巨型 LED 字幕。
对于小男宝的到来

在接受记者采访的时候，变成了形容词“狂魔”：
 "I haven't been at many births. This is definitely my first birth. It was amazing, absolutely incredible, and, as I said, I'm so incredibly proud of my wife."

"As every father and parent will ever say, your baby is absolutely amazing, but this little thing is absolutely to-die-for, so I'm just over the moon."

这也是英国王室首次迎来混血宝宝（mix-raced），也是第一个多种族的皇室后代（the first multiracial royal offspring）。
因为梅根本人是非洲裔混血，这位带有非洲基因的英国王室成员一出生就缔造了历史。再加上梅根是美国人，根据美国法律，这位小王子一出生自动获得美国国籍，拥有双重国籍（hold dual nationality）。
小王子将排在英国王位继承的第七位（seventh in line to the British throne）。
