1.入籍考试太难引发争议
据《每日邮报》报道,澳大利亚公民身份测试继续引发争议,而这次是因为它的失败率很高!

审计长报告发现,2018年,超过1,200名新澳大利亚人在2018年经历了三次失败的入籍考试考试才最终入籍。

在85,267名申请人中,有4,807人在同一年内未能通过这个有20个多项选择问题的考试。

据news.com.au报道,实质性的失败率加上民政事务总署处理申请的速度缓慢,令人质疑测试系统的有效性。

政客Tony Burke和Julian Hill表示,成千上万生活在澳洲的PR持有者只是想要表达他们对澳洲的忠诚,结果却因为一个部门的“黑洞”被搁置了。
据统计,在过去的四年中,被搁置的公民身份申请数量猛增了771%。

更令申请入籍者头疼的是,澳洲政府目前已经在参议院设置了一项法案,规定如果申请者入籍考试三次不及格,则在两年内禁止他们重新参加考试。

据Courier Mail报道,澳大利亚民族社区联合会(Federation of Ethnic Communities' Councils of Australia )代理首席执行官Mohammad Al-Khafajj表示,入籍测试无法准确衡量申请者对澳洲的忠诚度。
入籍考试是从75个关于澳洲知识选择题的题库中抽取20个进行测试,只需答对15个就能通过。
