当我靠着自己的力量服事上帝，就会变成为祂做苦工，而非与祂同行了。两者最大的差异就在于，如果不是与基督同行，我的灵将枯干脆弱。我会觉得人人都面目可憎，而不是具有上帝形象的伙伴，每件事都让人感到厌烦。
当我感到自己只是在进行宗教活动，而非享受与耶稣之间的亲密关系时，就应放下各样的重担，并学习靠着恩典与耶稣同行。
