【BRC实习直推】Kissell Research Group Summer Research Program Summer 2018 
Job Description: 
The training and workshop topics will consist of:
  • Portfolio Manager: Portfolio Management & Optimization
  • Risk Analyst: Risk, Covariance & Volatility Modeling
  • Algorithmic Quant: Algorithmic Trading & High Frequency Trading
  • Data Analyst / Data Scientist:
    Analytics, Programming & Machine Learning
Summer researchers (SR) will be required to complete all course assignments and submit a final team project. SRs will be placed in teams (4-6 team members) based on a topic of their choice and availability (see below). Project teams will work together to create, develop, and a build a model to address a current financial industry need. This final team project will be disseminated to the Wall Street Community and the Financial Industry. 

An important point of distinction of the KRG SR team project is that the student project teams retain ownership of their models. This is unlike company internship and full-time analyst positions where students, interns, and employees developed models and analytics that become the property of the company. In our training program, student teams retain ownership of their work product and can further develop and expand their final team models on their own, and can integrate their work product and model into any application of their choice. 
Qualifications
As part of the summer research program, SRs are required to submit a presentation of their team project describing the model and modeling methodology. SRs may also submit a team research paper on their topic. All team research papers that are submitted will be reviewed and if accepted by KRG will be included in our research journal. This journal will be additionally disseminated to the financial community and will give SRs increased industry exposure. 
Company Introduction: 
KRG is expanding our consulting services to the Wall Street and Financial Investment community. As a firm, we expect to be supporting 100+ clients by end of summer 2018.
We are also expanding our summer research program for July and August 2018. The program will consist of a four-week training program in financial modeling and quantitative analysis. Summer researchers (SRs) will attend lectures and training workshops either in person in NYC, or they will be provided with access to lecture material via our web interface. SRs have the option of attending the program onsite in a NYC office location or remotely via global locations.
