2018年3月1日至3月5日，西安交通大学代表团将访问英国剑桥、考文垂、牛津等地，招聘海外高层次人才。代表团将由西安交大副校长荣命哲带队、人力资源部与学院负责人参加，欢迎留英学子与校友前来和我校代表会面。

From March 1 to March 5, 2018, an official delegation of Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU) led by Vice-president Rong Mingzhe will visit Cambridge, Coventry, Oxford and other places to recruit high-level talents. The director of the Human Resources Department and deans of all schools of XJTU will join the delegation. We’d accept applications for working at XJTU as awardees of various leading talents programs such as Thousand Talents Plan, Changjiang Scholars Programme, Top-notch Talents Support Program (Youth), or working as a youth backbone teacher or research-only researcher. XJTU eagerly welcomes graduates from British universities with excellent performance, and would be honored to offer a platform for you to make your dream of success come true here, at the starting point of the Silk Road!

1、3月3日在牛津举行的西安交通大学人才招聘宣讲会将以冷餐会形式举行，学校为参会者报销英国境内往返交通费（请参会者备好相关票据），欢迎留英学子积极参加；
XJTU Talents Recruitment Fair will be held in the form of a buffet reception, and XJTU  will reimburse the participants for transportation tickets within the United Kingdom coming to and from the location where the fair is held (please provide the relevant receipts );
2、在英期间，代表团随时欢迎个性化咨询与洽谈，敬请大家关注代表团的行程。
During the time in UK, the delegation welcomes consultations, and those who are interested please pay attention to the delegation's schedule.

研讨会简介
Introduction of SRIS
丝绸之路青年学者研讨会是西安交通大学面向全球杰出青年学者开办的学术研讨与职业发展交流盛会。研讨会将为校内外优秀青年学者搭建一个深入交流的平台，促进来访学者与西安交大相关学科和教师建立起实质性的联系与合作。藉此，也使与会学者深入了解国家西部战略，了解陕西省情省貌及西安交大发展动态，使有意加盟的杰出人才成为学校师资队伍的新鲜血液。
Silk Road International Symposium (SRIS) is an extraordinary communicating event for academic and professional development which is held by XJTU for outstanding young scholars from all over the world. Meanwhile, XJTU would also like to take this opportunity to facilitate the communication and collaboration between the invited scholars and XJTU faculties, present XJTU’s talents recruitment schemes and attract interested distinguished scholars to join XJTU.
论坛包括两部分内容。主题论坛为与会学者介绍西安交大发展战略和学校的学科、人才、科研和研究生教育情况；学院分论坛将组织与会学者与学院和学科负责人及校内教师交流，了解学院的工作环境、科研现状、实验设备、人才需求等。

SRIS comprises one Keynote Session and several Parallel Sessions. Presentations on the development strategies and current situation of academics, faculty, research and postgraduate education of XJTU will be given in the keynote Session. The parallel sessions consist of a series of activities hosted by related schools, including academic exchanges, lab tour, meetings with deans and members of faculty. Invited scholars can thus have a clear vision on working environment, research, infrastructure, positions, etc. of XJTU.
为广泛吸引海内外优秀青年学者来校交流，从2018年起，研讨会每年召开两次，分为春季研讨会和秋季研讨会。
  In order to attract young scholars at home and abroad in wide range, the SRIS will be held twice a year from 2018, one session in spring and the other in autumn respectively.
