Dr. Muthu Muthusrinivasan
Head of Risk & Safety Platform @ Uber
Muthu在Uber担任Head of Risk & Safety。此前，他在Google工作了10多年，参与了Google的多个重要策略性产品的开发，其中包括Search Quality, Spam & Abuse, Google Offers, Maps Monetization, Android Platform Services, Project Fi, Google Cloud Platform等等。
Muthu从Iowa State University获得Computer Engineering的博士学位，在那之前，他从IIT Madras取得了B.Tech学士学位。

在Uber，整个核心的商业运作和产品——从接送地点、规划路线到定价——都离不开背后的知识图谱（Knowledge graph）和可视化数据，产品增长、市场营销、安全到客户支持服务也都仰赖于此。
下周日，我们邀请了Muthu来和大家聊聊Uber的知识图谱是如何从概念到施行一步步建立起来的。
We live in a highly connected world today, where data is not only abundant but also manifests itself in a complex web of relationships. Graph databases excel at responding to complex queries on highly connected data sets, independent of their size. Not surprisingly, they have emerged, in recent years, as a critical platform for large scale data analysis and visualization.
At Uber, the knowledge graph enables a singular, holistic view of core business entities (drivers, riders, trips, locations, etc), essential facts (price, rating, identity, etc), their interactions (referrals, sharing, etc), and derived inferences (network influence, risk score, reputation, etc), in our ever expanding ecosystem. Many graph traversals and algorithms are deployed today to assist in various product initiatives across Growth, Marketing, Security, Customer Support, and other business critical domains.
In this talk, Muthu will talk about the evolution of the Uber Knowledge Graph, from inception to launch, with a specific focus on engineering and scaling challenges.
