自2月21日开始，在美新移民递交移民服务申请时将只能使用新表格，下载新表格可访问移民局网站【uscis.gov/forms】。USCIS（美国移民与公民服务局）提醒，移民局此后将只受理申请人提交的新版表格，旧版申请表格将不再受理。
另外自2016年12月23日开始移民局新的收费标准将执行，最新收费标准可登录uscis.gov/forms/our-fees查看，如各项服务申请若未按照新的收费标准缴付，申请文件将被退回。
此外，移民局还提醒，所有申请人包括申请入籍减免费用的低收入人士，在提交申请表时也需缴纳85美元的“生物识别费”（biometric services fee），否则移民局也将拒绝申请。
