2017秋季的转学申请截止日延迟啦

Students hoping to transfer to a University of California campus for next fall will have additional time to apply, UC announced today (Oct. 31).

The deadline for students filing applications to transfer to UC for fall 2017 will be extended to Jan. 3, 2017 for most majors, widening the application window for qualified students preparing to transfer to the university.

去年就玩过推迟申请截止日的UC

继今年的文书题目改革之后

又双叒叕延长转学申请截止日期啦！

终于有更多时间准备了！

可以再拖一拖……

UC还说了：

如果你十一月底不交申请

想拖到寒假有空再来填的话

你的专业已经不接受申请了！

UC某分校招生官回应我们的老师：

“The information indicates that some majors will be closed after the priority deadline of November 30. This is a bit tricky in that students who decide to submit after November 30th, may find that the major/program they are intending is closed to them. I have no idea how extensive this will be.”

要知道，去年UC突然延长截止日期主要是为了能让比较冷门的分校（如Merced，Riverside）接收到更多的申请，扩大生源，从而达到预期的招生目标。而像UCB、UCLA这样的热门选择，本来并不需要更多申请者啊！只是无奈作为UC系统的成员，也只能跟着执行这样的统一决定。

而今年，UC也在Frequently Asked Questions中回答道:

“some majors will likely fill up with those who have applied during the priority application period.”

所以，也许，可能，大概，为了达到原本的目的，UC最可能的做法是，将热门分校的热门专业在11月30日后关闭申请……小编表示，果然套路深啊……
