启示录1:17-18；21:1-7
John was a disciple of Jesus. One day, Jesus came to him in a vision, shining like the sun. "Don't be afraid," said Jesus. "I died. Now I live forever!"
约翰是耶稣的门徒。有一天，耶稣在异象中向他显现，像太阳一样发光。耶稣说：“不要惧怕！我曾经死过，现在我永远活着！”
Then John saw a new heaven and a new earth, God's promised new creation. The first heaven and the first earth were gone and the sea with them! Next, John saw Cod's Holy City, the new Jerusalem. It was coming down from heaven. It was beautiful, like a bride on her wedding day ready to meet her husband!
那时，约翰看见一个新天新地，是上帝所应许创造的新天地。原有的天地都废去了，海也不再有了。然后，约翰看见上帝的圣城，就是新耶路撒冷，从天而降。她美丽无比，就像婚礼那天，装扮好等候新郎到来的新娘。
Then John heard a loud voice coming from the throne of God saying," From now on, God will make His home among His people, and they will all live together." "In this new heaven and new earth, there won't be any tears because no one will be in pain, and no one will die. Those things are gone, forever!"
约翰又听见有大声音从上帝的宝座上发出来，说：“从此，上帝要与他的子民同住，生活在一起。”“在新天新地里，再也没有眼泪、痛苦和死亡。那些事都过去了，永远不再有了！”
Then the voice from the throne said, "I am the Beginning and the End. If you are thirsty, come to Me, and I will give you the water of life." "My new world is for My children, those who are faithful to Me. I'm making all things new. It's true. You can count on it."
又有声音从宝座上传来说：“我是开始，我是末了。你若口渴，就到我这里来，我要将生命的水赐给你喝。”“这新造的天地是为我的儿女预备的，就是那些一心跟随我的人。我要将一切更新。这话是真实可信的。”
