路加福音5：17-26
Full! The house was full!Jesus was in the house,teaching and healing, andeveryone wanted to seeHim.Some men had a friend whocould not walk. Theybelieved that Jesus couldheal him, so they carriedhim to the house on a mat.
真挤啊！屋子里怎么这么多人！原来耶稣正在教导众人，还医治了许多病人，所以大家都想来见见他。有几个人也想来见耶稣。他们的朋友是个瘫子，不能走路。他们相信耶稣能治好他，就用褥子抬着他到耶稣那里去。
Because the house was sofull, they couldn't get in. Sothey carried their friend upthe steps to the flat roofand started tearing up the tiles!They opened a hole in theroof. Everyone in the houselooked up, amazed! Thenthey lowered their friendinto the middle of thecrowd.
但是屋子里人太多了，他们进不去。有办法了！他们抬着朋友，沿着阶梯上了屋顶，然后开始拆屋顶的瓦片！他们把屋顶拆了一个大洞。屋里的人都吃惊地往上看。接着他们把朋友从屋顶上慢慢缒了下去。
They thought Jesus wouldheal their friend. Instead,Jesus saidto him, "Yoursins are forgiven." Thereligious leaders were veryunhappy. "Only God canforgive sins," theygrumbled.
他们以为耶稣会马上医治他们的朋友。但是耶稣却对瘫子说：“你的罪被赦免了。”在场的宗教领袖听了这话，非常生气。他们说：“只有上帝才有权柄赦免人的罪。”
"What's easier?" askedJesus. "To forgive a man'ssins or make him walk? Toshow you that I have God'spower to forgive sins, I willheal his legs."
耶稣说：“赦免一个人的罪和使他能够行走，哪一样更容易呢？为了让你们知道我有赦罪的权柄，现在，我就要医治他的腿。”
"Pick up your mat and walkhome," said Jesus to theman. And he did! His friendscheered, and so dideveryone else. Now thehouse was filled...withpraise.
耶稣对瘫子说：“起来，拿起你的褥子，回家去吧。”那人立刻起来，拿着他的褥子回家去了！他的朋友们和在场的所有人都欢呼起来，屋里充满了对上帝的赞美。
