马太福音4：1-11
God’s Spirit led Jesus intothe desert. He had nothingto eat for forty days andnights. After that, Jesuswas very hungry!
上帝的灵带领耶稣来到旷野。在那里耶稣四十天没有吃喝东西。后来他就饿了。
Knowing that Jesus washungry, Satan temptedHim. He pointed to a rockand said, "If You are the Sonof God, tell these rocks tobecome bread."Jesus answered Satan,using God's words from theBible, "it's not just breadthat keeps people alive," Hesaid. "Their lives alsodepend on what God says."
撒但知道耶稣饿了，就来试探他。他指着一块石头说：“如果你是上帝的儿子，就把这些石头变成面包吧！”耶稣用圣经中上帝的话来回答撒但，说：“人不是单靠食物活着，而是靠上帝所说的一切话。”
Next, Satan took Jesus tothe top of the temple. "IfYou are the Son of God,jump off! The Scripturessay that God's angels willrescue You."So Jesus used God's Wordto give His second answer."Do not put the Lord yourGod to the test," He said,quoting again from theBible.
接着，撒但把耶稣带到圣殿顶上，说：“如果你是上帝的儿子，就从这里跳下去！因为圣经上说，上帝会派天使来保护你。”耶稣再次用上帝的话来回答，说：“圣经上说，不可试探主你的上帝。”
Finally, Satan took Jesus toa mountain, and showedHim all the world'skingdoms and wealth. "Thiscan be Yours,” he said, "ifYou bow down and worshipme.""Go away, Satan!" Jesuscommanded. Then Hequoted God's Word onemore time. "For it iswritten, 'Worship the Lordyour God and serve Himonly."
最后，撒但带耶稣上了山，将世上的万国和财富都指绐他看，说：“如果你向我跪拜，这些就都是你的。“撒但退去吧！”耶稣命令道。然后他再次引用上帝的话，说：“因为圣经上说：‘要敬拜主你的上帝，单单侍奉他。’”
As soon as Jesus said it,Satan left Him. Then angelscame and cared for Him.Jesus had faced temptationand hadn't sinned, not evenonce.
耶稣说完这些话，撒但就离开了。接着有天使来到耶稣身旁服侍他。耶稣面对各种试探，却从来没有犯过罪，一次也没有。
