撒目耳记上1；2：11；3

Hannah was sad because she had no children. She prayed, and God gave her a son, Samuel. She was very grateful, so she gave Samuel to God to serve Him.
哈拿每天都很伤心,因为她不能生孩子。她迫切地祷告，上帝听了她的祷告，她就生了一个儿子，绐他起名叫撒母耳。哈拿非常感恩，就决定把撒母耳献给上帝，让他在圣殿里侍奉上帝。
Hannah left her little boy at the tabernacle with Eli, the priest. Samuel helped old,blind Eli. He even slept in the tabernacle, while Eli slept in a room nearby.
哈拿把小撒母耳托付给了圣殿的祭司以利。以利年纪老迈,眼睛也昏花了，撒母耳常常照顾他。以利在圣殿旁边的屋子里睡觉，撒母耳睡在圣殿里。
One night, Samuel heard someone call his name. He got up and ran to Eli. "Here I am," he said. "I didn't call you," Eli grunted. "Go back to bed."
一天晚上，撒母耳听见有人呼唤他的名字,就起来，跑到以利跟前，说：“我在这里。”以利迷迷糊糊地说：“我没有叫你，回去睡觉吧”
Samuel crept back to bed. He heard his name again.Samuel ran back to Eli. "Here I am," he said. "I didn't call you," Eli sighed, sleepily. "Go back to bed."
撒母耳回到自己的床上。他又听见有人呼唤自己的名字。他再次跑到以利身边，说：“我在这里。”以利困倦地叹了一口气，说：“我没有叫你，回去睡觉吧。
After Samuel heard the voice a third time, Eli said it was the Lord. "If He calls again," said Eli, "say,'Speak, Lord, Your servant is listening."' So Samuel
did.
当撒母耳第三次听见那个声音的时候,以利告诉撒母耳，是上帝在呼唤他。以利说：“如果上帝再呼唤你，你就说：‘主啊，请说,仆人在听。’ ”撒母耳照着做了。
"Samuel," God said, "can you be My prophet and pass My words faithfully on to My people?" "I can," said Samuel. And he did, until he was an old man.
上帝说：“撒母耳，你能做我忠诚的先知,并把我的话传绐我的百姓吗?” “我能!”撒母耳回答说。撒母耳真的做到了，他一直到老都是上帝忠诚的先知。
