士师记13-16
Again, Cod's people disobeyed Him. So God let the Philistines rule over them for forty years. Then He chose a man named Samson to set them free.

以色列人进入应许之地后,却一次又一次地违背上帝。上帝让非利士人统治了他们四十年。四十年后,上帝拣选了一个叫参孙的人来解救他们。
An angel promised Samson's mother that she would have a son. Samson would have to make three promises to God. Never drink wine. Never touch dead things. Never cut his hair.
参孙出生前，一位天使向他母亲显现，说她将要生一个儿子。但是这个儿子必须遵守对上帝的三个诺言，那就是:决不喝酒;决不摸死去的动物;决不剃头发。

God made Samson very strong. He killed a lion, and bees made honey in its body. Samson touched the dead lion, breaking one of his promises to God! He even ate the honey.
上帝使参孙力大无比。一天，参孙徒手杀死了一只狮子。后来蜜蜂在死狮子里面酿了蜂蜜。参孙看到了,就用手取蜂蜜吃，并且摸了死狮子。参孙违背了对上帝的诺言。
Samson fell In love with a woman named Delilah. The Philistines promised her lots of money to discover why Samson was so strong. She asked him again and again.Finally, Samson told Delilah his secret. "If my hair is cut, my strength will go." So, while he slept,Delilah called for a man to cut off his hair. Samson's strength left him.
参孙爱上了一个叫大利拉的女人。非利士人去找大利拉,说只要她能查出参孙力大无穷的原因，他们就会给她一大笔钱。于是大利拉一遍又一遍地追问参孙力气大的秘密。参孙终于不耐烦了,就把他的秘密告诉了大利拉，说：“如果剃了我的头发，我就没那么大力气了。”于是，大利拉趁他睡着的时候,叫了一个人来剃了他的头发。参孙的力量离开了他。
When the Philistines arrived, they captured him easily. They blinded him. Then they put him in prison and set him to work, dragging a heavy grinding stone.
Slowly, Samson's hair grew back. The Philistines brought Samson into their temple to thank their false god, Dagon, for defeating him. Samson asked God to make him strong one last time.
这时，非利士人来了,轻易地捉住了参孙。他们剜了他的眼睛,把他关进监狱，让他推沉重的石磨。慢慢地，参孙的头发又长起来了。非利士人因为打败了参孙，要去感谢他们的假神大衮，就把参孙带到他们的庙里。参孙祈求上帝赐绐他最后一次力量。
Samson stood between two pillars and pushed on them. The temple fell down, killing all the Philistines,and Samson with them.Samson didn't keep his promises, but Cod kept His!
参孙抱住两根柱子用力一推。庙倒塌了，压死了里面所有的非利士人，参孙自己也死了。虽然参孙没有遵守诺言，但是上帝却遵守了他的诺言！
