2018年俄罗斯世界杯（英语：2018 FIFA World Cup）是第21届世界杯足球赛。比赛将于2018年6月14日至7月15日在俄罗斯境内11座城市中的12座球场内举行。

The 2018 edition of the World Cup kicks off on June 14 as hosts Russia take on Saudi Arabia in the opening game.

FIFA是什么？

FIFA 指的是国际足球联合会，简称国际足联。这个机构的英文全称是International Federation of Association Football。不过FIFA的缩写是从法语来的，全名叫Fédération Internationale de Football Association。目前国际足联下设欧洲、亚洲、非洲、中北美和加勒比地区、南美洲、大洋洲六个地区性组织，其总部于1932年由法国巴黎移至瑞士苏黎世。

本届世界杯共有32支球队参加，俄罗斯作为东道主自动获得参赛资格。这些球队被分成8个小组，通过64场比赛角逐出冠军。
