Commom App系统有六大变化

通用申请Common Application，简称Common App，是美国大学本科入学网上申请的一站式网站，适用于包括哈佛，耶鲁，普林斯顿等名校在内的美国大学。

作为美国本科申请的主流平台，每年Common Application都会针对大学申请的各种新趋势和需求进行功能上的升级。

在完成功能更新后，Common App昨天（8月1日）正式开放使用，这说明，2018申请季真的来了。

今年的CA系统具体有哪些新功能？作为申请者，我们又该如何应对这些改进？

自主提交课程和成绩单

这项功能与大家息息相关，虽然今年只有7个学校正式接受学生自主提交课程与成绩单，但如果未来“自主提交课程和成绩单”功能被更多大学所接受，那将大大减少学生在邮寄纸质成绩单到学校的过程中造成成绩单丢失或者推迟的可能。

学生们可以不用操心这些繁杂的手续，而能更专注于完善自己的申请内容。对于大学招生办来说，学生的成绩呈现形式更统一，一目了然。

这项功能对国际学生会有很大的帮助，因为这会极大地避免国际学生提交格式不正确的成绩单。

今年有7所院校正式接受学生自主提交课程与成绩单：

文书上传形式与Google Drive的兼容整合

学生可以轻松地使用自己的Google Drive便捷地上传文档、简历和学校作业及其他学校要求的材料到Common App上。

这是CAAS的“优化版”，但是对于在国内的同学可能没有太大的帮助。

导师和推荐人板块升级

过去，学生在Common App中只能邀请自己在校申请顾问、老师（School-based Counselors and teachers）来辅导申请，但是现在，学生可以邀请校外资源来帮助自己的申请，比如校外的申请顾问、独立咨询顾问及社区组织CBO（Community-Based Organizations）。

这些人和校内升学顾问一样，能够在Common App中直接管理、查看学生申请进度。

新增西班牙语资源

为那些以西班牙语为母语的学生、家长和咨询顾问更好的理解和使用CA系统，Common App增加的西班牙翻译。

新增成员院校

Common App会员学校来自美国49个州，17个国家，包括130多所公立大学。

大家最关心的文书部分，由曾经的5个题目增加到了7个，大家的选择更多了；而原有的5个题目中，也有3个题目有改动。字数限制不变，依然是650字。文书题目如下：
