近日，《中国慈善家》记者调查发现，阜阳野生动物园在未取得人工繁殖许可证的情况下，违法展示展演、人工繁殖国家一级保护动物东北虎。更令人触目惊心的是，因为动物园经营权纠纷的影响，导致大量野生动物死亡，其中包括20只东北虎、2只非洲狮、3头长颈鹿等珍贵野生动物。
A zoo in central China's Anhui province is under investigation following reports of the abnormal deaths of numerous animals, including Siberian tigers, African lions, and giraffes.
目前，园区内存活着的16只东北虎以及非洲狮、长颈鹿、黑熊等动物，长期被关在运输铁笼中，空间狭小，生存状态堪忧。
Animals at Fuyang Wildlife Park were said to have been neglected due to disputes over zoo management rights. The surviving animals, including 16 Siberian tigers, are confined in cramped cages, raising serious concerns about their well-being, according to a report by China Philanthropist magazine.
5月10日，《中国慈善家》记者实地走访阜阳野生动物园发现，死亡的野生动物幼崽的尸体至今仍存放于冰柜中，而成年东北虎、非洲狮、长颈鹿、黑熊等动物的尸体，则堆放于一个约10平米的冷藏室，等待处理。
On May 10, a reporter with the magazine visited the park and found the bodies of young animals stored in freezers, while those of adult Siberian tigers, African lions, giraffes, and black bears were piled in a cold storage room of about 10 square meters, awaiting disposal.
官方回应
阜阳市人民政府新闻办公室5月13日发布关于颍东区民营动物园涉野生动物死亡网络舆情的情况通报：
2024年5月13日上午，中国慈善家杂志微信公众号发布《调查丨20只东北虎之死》一文，反映我市颍东区一民营野生动物园内“多只动物非正常死亡，存活的动物生存条件恶劣”。
阜阳市委、市政府高度重视，决定成立由市委、市政府负责同志牵头，市纪委监委、市委政法委、市林业局、市公安局和颍东区政府组成的调查组，对涉野生动物死亡一事进行全面调查，后续调查和处置情况将及时向社会公布。
我市坚决依法依规保护各类野生动物，对危害野生动物的违法犯罪行为严惩不贷，对有关责任人员严肃追责，为野生动物筑牢保护屏障。
Fuyang city authorities said on Monday that an investigation team would be looking into the deaths and those responsible would be held accountable.
另据阜阳野生动物园微信公号发布的临时闭园公告：5月13日至15日闭园三天，5月16日周四正常营业。
The park announced a temporary closure from Monday but said it would resume normal operations on Thursday.
Fuyang Wildlife Park has been embroiled in management rights disputes since its inception.
