CEA昆西亚洲文化庆典活动圆满成功举行

探索亚洲文化遗产，连接不同世代的桥梁

【波士顿中文网报道】4月16日，美国公盟教育协会 (CEA) 和美国华人协会新英格兰分会（OCA- NE），在麻州昆西市的奥布莱恩大楼 (O'Brien Tower) 举办了一场开创性的活动。该活动旨在弥合华人社区中年轻一代和年长一代之间的差距。

The Civic Education Alliance (CEA) and OCA recently hosted a groundbreaking event at O'Brien Tower on 73 Bicknell St. Quincy. The event aimed to bridge the gap between the younger and senior generations within the Chinese community.

近100人参加了这项活动，其中有60名长者居民，還有熱心于为长者服务青少年志願者。活动包括游戏、餐饮、唱歌、跳舞以及青少年和长辈之间有意义的对话。

An impressive turnout of almost 100 people attended the event, with 60 residents and 40 teenagers dedicating their time to serve the elders. The activities included games, food serving, singing, dancing, and meaningful conversations between the teenagers and the elders.

参与长者中，大多数人讲中文或越南语，其中只有三人说英语。

Out of the participants, the majority were Chinese-speaking, with only three individuals proficient in English.

CEA主席潘鉴城（Frank Poon)在接受到场的「波士顿环球报」专访时表示，此次活动的成功举办标志着CEA和OCA致力于促进代际联系和加强社区纽带。

This event not only provided a platform for the younger generation to connect and engage with their elders but also fostered a sense of unity within the community.
