Unleash your imagination and harness the power of words at the #ExpressYourself Poetry Writing and Sharing Workshops, presented by the Shanghai American Center and Inkwell.
由著名写作社区Inkwell创始人Ryan Thorpe博士的带领和指导，你将参与创作工作坊和作品评估工作坊。创作工作坊是有针对的写作活动，赋予你写作英语诗歌的灵感和技巧，而作品评估工作坊将提供有益的反馈，提高你的作品。无论你是经验丰富的文字工作者还是刚刚开始你的文学之旅，本系列工作坊都为提高和探索提供了空间。
Led by Dr. Ryan Thorpe, founder of the esteemed local writing community, Inkwell, you will participate in a generative workshop, where you'll explore focused writing activities to inspire you and give you the skills to create poetry in English, and an evaluative workshop, where you'll receive constructive feedback to enhance your work. Whether you're a seasoned wordsmith or just beginning your literary journey, these workshops offer a space for growth and exploration.

关于Ryan Thorpe博士
About Dr. Ryan Thorpe
Ryan Thorpe博士是上海交通大学密西根学院副教授，教授人文科学和写作课程，他还担任学院学术写作项目和写作中心的主任。他是Inkwell（www.inkwell.asia）的执行董事，这个文学团体在全国举办免费的公开的写作工作坊。Ryan Thorpe博士曾为《环球时报》、《中国日报》和《第六声》撰写专栏，并在多家文学期刊上发表文章。他的第一本学术著作《Teaching Second Language Creative Writing》于2021年12月由Routledge出版。他的三部奇幻小说《The Willows》《Arcadian Midnight》和《The Warden》于2023年由Aethon Books出版。
Dr. Ryan Thorpe is an associate teaching professor and teaches humanities and writing courses at the University of Michigan-Shanghai Jiao Tong University Joint Institute. He also serves as the director of its academic writing program and its writing center. He is the executive director of Inkwell (www.inkwell.asia), a literary collective that holds free and public writing workshops in China. He has written columns for The Global Times, China Daily, and Sixth Tone, and has published in numerous literary journals. His first scholarly book, Teaching Second Language Creative Writing was published in December of 2021 by Routledge. Three fantasy novels, The Willows, Arcadian Midnight, and The Warden were published by Aethon Books in 2023.

Recruitment Requirement
扫描以下二维码报名参与，仅15个名额。报名截止日期为4月2日。如果你被成功录取，我们将于4月5日之前通过电子邮件通知你。成功录取的参与者必须两场活动都参加。
