Common App申请系统开放，2022申请季开始，快来看看有哪些变化！

他来了他来了，2022 申请季伴随着 Common App 的更新走来了！今天，Common App 申请系统更新并正式上线。

ZoomIn 明天开始着手对本次申请季的同学们进行 CA 填写培训。

Common App 是美国本科申请三大网申系统之一（以下简称 CA），也是目前美国大学申请使用人数最多的系统。

申请人只需填写一份申请表，包括标化成绩、文书、背景活动以及推荐信等，就可以用它来申请多所大学，有效的节省申请所用的时间。

那么让我们看看CA系统出现了哪些改动：

主文书改动

最新更新的CA系统中，主文书的第4⃣️篇发生了改动，老版的为：

现为：“4⃣️Reflect on something that someone has done for you that has made you happy or thankful in a surprising way. How has this gratitude affected or motivated you?”

“回想一下别人为你做过的让你以一种意想不到的方式感到快乐或感激的事情。这种感激是如何影响或激励你的?”

1⃣️Some students have a background, identity, interest, or talent that is so meaningful they believe their application would be incomplete without it. If this sounds like you, then please share your story.

有些学生拥有有意义的背景、特征、兴趣或才华，他们觉得如果不在申请中展示这些内容，申请则将是不完整的。如果这是你，请分享你的故事。

2⃣️The lessons we take from obstacles we encounter can be fundamental to later success. Recount a time when you faced a challenge, setback, or failure. How did it affect you, and what did you learn from the experience?

我们从困境得到的教训是今后成功的基础。想想你面对挑战、挫折或者失败的时候。这如何影响你，你又从中学到什么？

3⃣️Reflect on a time when you questioned or challenged a belief or idea. What prompted your thinking? What was the outcome?

5⃣️Discuss an accomplishment, event, or realization that sparked a period of personal growth and a new understanding of yourself or others.

6⃣️Describe a topic, idea, or concept you find so engaging that it makes you lose all track of time. Why does it captivate you? What or who do you turn to when you want to learn more?

描述一个让你全身心投入以至于忘记时间的主题、想法或者概念。它为什么吸引你？如果你要想深入了解更多，你会去找什么或者寻求谁的帮助？

7⃣️Share an essay on any topic of your choice. It can be one you've already written, one that responds to a different prompt, or one of your own design.

写一篇任何你自行选择主题的文章。可以是你之前写过的命题文章或者你自选主题的文章。

其他题目没有改动，额外信息部分仍保留了 COVID-19 的“分享疫情对你个人和学术的影响”的备选问题。

今年包括伊利诺伊大学厄巴纳-香槟分校（UICU）在内的 60 多所学校加入了 CA 申请系统。

个人信息部分修改

为了减少歧视和偏见，接收多元化的学生，CA 还修改了很多个人信息部分的选项。如：

公民身份的选项中，“Other (non-US)” 替换成 International students 和 Undocumented/DACA students 两个选项。

删除父母和兄弟姐妹相关问题，父母的职业、学历、就业情况相关问题设置为 Optional；

性别描述部分，用词从 “sex” 改成 “legal sex”；

删除学校纪律、军队退伍、宗教偏好等问题。
