常年生活在北京的双语君（微信ID：Chinadaily_Mobile）深谙堵车之苦，不过听说最近在2018年世界物联网博览会上获得特别奖的“车联网（LTE-V2X）城市级示范应用”将解决我们的烦恼！

今天双语君（微信ID:Chinadaily_Mobile）就打算和大家说说这项日新月异的技术——车联网（Internet of Vehicles, IoV）。

有同学肯定会问，物联网（Internet of Things, IoT）我还没搞明白是咋回事儿，怎么又跳出来个车联网？

没关系，咱们先来学习下：

物联网，物物相连的互联网，通过各种信息传感设备，与互联网结合形成一个巨大的网络，实现物与物、物与人、所有物品与网络的连接，方便识别、管理和控制。
The Internet of Things (IoT) is the network of physical devices, vehicles, home appliances, and other items embedded with electronics, software, sensors, actuators, and connectivity.

物联网技术使物物相连并进行数据交换，让物质世界与计算机网络更充分融合，从而推动高效发展，带来经济收益，减少人力投入。
IoT enables these things to connect and exchange data, creating opportunities for more direct integration of the physical world into computer-based systems, and resulting in efficiency improvements, economic benefits, and reduced human exertions.

随着物联网技术的不断更新迭代，很多行业和领域都先后引进物联网应用。现在比较热门的有“无人超市”、“地铁扫码进站应用”、“公交扫码乘车应用”等等。
IoT has been developing and being applied in many fields, such as unmanned groceries and applications on mobile phones which allow people to board buses or metro lines by scanning the QR code.

简单来说，中国人常见的“扫码支付”“共享单车”这些就是物联网在生活的应用。

而车联网正是物联网在汽车行业的应用。

车联网是通过车用无线通信技术，将车辆与一切事物相连接，其中V代表车辆，X代表任何与车交互信息的对象，当前X主要包含车、人、交通路侧基础设施和网络。
The Internet of Vehicles (IoV) is a large-scale distributed system for wireless communications and information exchanges of V2X (vehicle to everything), including vehicle to vehicle, vehicle to pedestrian, vehicle to infrastructure, and vehicle to internet.

我国目前实现车联网应用的主要技术手段是LTE-V2X，其借助优化了的移动宽带网络，拥有更大带宽、更短时延以及更大通信能力，改善汽车驾乘感受，提高通行效率，促进交通安全。
The LTE-V2X, built on the LTE-4G cellular network, allows high-bandwidth, low-latency, high-reliability communications of V2X, enabling a much better traffic flow and safer rides.

9月15至18日，在江苏无锡举办的“世界物联网博览会”上，全球第一个城市级车路协同平台——“车联网（LTE-V2X）城市级示范应用”首次集中展示。
The world's first city-wide application of the LTE-V2X technology went on a trial run in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, during the 2018 World Internet of Things Expo from Sept 15 to 18.

双语君觉得有了这项技术，智能出行（intelligent transportation）就不再是喊喊的口号。以后想堵车都难，小岳岳的《五环之歌》即将成为过去式！

无锡市LTE-V2X车联网项目现已覆盖主城区主要道路逾200个信号灯控路口、火车站、机场及部分高速公路，预计辐射10万辆汽车。
Wuxi authorities said the scope of the project has now covered major urban areas, including over 200 intersections, the main railway station, airport and some of the major highways in the city, expecting to reach 100, 000 vehicles.

搭载了LTE-V2X终端的车辆能实现前向碰撞预警、盲区预警、交叉路口碰撞、闯红灯预警、行人穿越预警等20项V2X智慧交通各场景。
Based on the platform, V2X-capable vehicles in Wuxi are now able to access a series of road safety application scenarios, including roadwork warnings, blind spot warnings, emergency vehicle approaches and assistance with intersection movement.

它比手机导航功能更实时、更强大，而且是基于位置的私人定制信息服务。

本届物博会以“数字新经济物联新时代”为主题，为期4天，吸引了逾3000名科技爱好者到场参观，同时也成功举办1场大型物联网应用和产品展览展示、1场新技术新产品新应用成果发布活动、10场高峰论坛和16场系列活动。
The four-day event attracted over 3,000 visitors and included a summit, an IoT application and production exhibition, an awarding ceremony for new IoT products and applications, 10 high-end forums, and 16 other activities.

今年展示的新技术、新产品、新应用与往届（点击了解2017年物博会）相比覆盖面更宽、更广，包括物联网芯片、软件、平台、应用的各个领域，比如海洋领域有涉及水文、水利，交通领域有涉及飞机、高铁。

小到一个加工的工具，大到整个工厂的智能化，处处都渗透着物联网的最新成果。
