Position: Equity Trading Strategy Analyst
Location: New York
Responsibilities:
  • Help to enhance impact of derivate based ideas within Citi Edge and improve the linkage to bank wide research content both in single stock and macro space. 
  • Help to leverage resources across the firm: Sales ideas, quantitative signals across assets, Sector Specialist inputs, trading considerations for products (liquidity, ability to hedge risk). 
  • Stay on top of developments across asset classes and articulate their implications for Equities. Offer cross asset class solutions or comparisons of relative value in vol space when needed and relevant for clients. 
  • To refine output on “carry” and income generation in the context of globally low yields. To turn the output into a more dynamic feature within Citi Edge 
  • To assist in identifying and dominating market themes, tail risks, events risk, mindshare, hedges across instruments traded by our client base. The scope will be from Single stock recommendations all the way through structured derivative products via quantitative baskets and factors. The articulation can be directional or vol based. 
Qualification:
  • Equity product knowledge (Cash, Volatility, Macro, Micro) 
  • Market knowledge to identify themes and inflection points 
  • Communication skills to assist the NAM team and help facilitate the goals 
  • Analytical background
