今年加州山火泛滥，加州不知道已经烧秃了多少座山。根据加州林业和消防部门统计，2017年至今，加州发生了8749场野火，烧毁了一百一十二万英亩（4千5百41平方千米）。
12月5日，根据KTLA报道，南加州同时爆发两场山火，一场名为Thomas，发生在洛杉矶以西60英里的Ventura县，目前已波及近50000英亩，超过150栋建筑物被烧毁，1名消防员受伤。
另一场名为Creek的大火，距离洛杉矶仅20英里，位于洛杉矶东西北方向的Kagel Canyon和Lake View Terrace附近, 目前已有4000英亩被烧毁，上千人撤离，大火导致210高速部分路段封路。
Thomas Fire
由于大风肆虐，导致火势蔓延，目前火势完全失控，Ventura县周边的27000名居民已经撤离家园。
火情不受控制
尽管第一批赶来的500名消防员非常努力的救火，但由于很强的东风，目前火势完全失控，政府不得不宣布让当地居民撤离，目前更多的消防员今天就会赶到参与救火。

火灾位置
这次主要波及的地区是位于洛杉矶西北的Ventura County，尤其是 Santa Paula市和Ventura市已经处于紧急状态，两市内有至少两万居民家中停电，根据目前这种情况，断电还要持续几天。

撤离情况
目前撤离的27000名居民主要聚集在：
  • Santa Paula east of Dickenson Road, north of Monte Vista Drive along Highway 150 and South of Thomas Aquinas College to the area of Say Road.
  • Santa Paula west of Dickenson Road to Atmore Road, north of Foothill Road and west to Wheeler Canyon Road.
  • Upper Ojai north of Highway 150 from Koenigstein Road west to the Dennison Grade, north to Reeves Road, east to McAndrew Road and north to Grand Avenue.
  • Santa Paula and Ventura north of Foothill Road west to Wheeler Canyon Road, north to Canada Larga Road and east to Barlow Canyon Road.
  • Ventura, CA south of Highway 33, east of Main St, north of Foothill Road and Hall Canyon Road and west of Canada Larga Road.
避难Shelter
目前为撤离居民提供庇护的Shelter已经全部开放，最大的Shelter位于Ventura县的举办嘉年华的Fairground Miners Building和LiveStock Center。
发现受伤或需要救助的动物，可以送到10 West Harbor Avenue , Ventura这个地址。
另外一个应急避难所位于Ojai市的Nordhoff High School 地址是：1401 Maricopa Highway in Ojai。
目前因火灾关闭的周边学校有：
  • Ventura Unified School District – All schools will be closed.
  • Hueneme Elementary School District – All schools will be closed.
  • Santa Paula School Districts – All schools will be closed.
  • Ventura Community College
  • Thomas Aquinas College
  • Mesa Union School District
  • Briggs School District
  • Mupu School District
  • Oxnard Elementary School District
  • All Ventura County Office of Education Schools
  • Santa Clara Elementary (20030 East Telegraph Road, Santa Paula)
火灾起始
周一（4日）晚上6：25，火星从Steckel Park north of Santa Paula开始一直沿着Highway 150少起。当局一直认为火灾与一起车祸有关，并以为车祸导致1人死亡，但周二在车祸现场只找到动物尸体，并没找到人的尸体。
当局表示，这一地区超过十年没有发生过山火，干燥和常年累积的植被，以及强风使得山火处于完全不可控状态，山火未来的发展完全取决于风向，官方目前能做的就是尽可能保证公众知情和安全疏散。
周二上午加州州长布朗宣布，由于大火危险，Ventura县进入紧急状态
Creek大火 正在同时肆虐
Thomas大火燃烧之时，距离洛杉矶仅20英里的Lake Terrace附近，也在5日凌晨发生火灾。同样因为大风，火势迅速蔓延，目前700名消防员正在于大火抗争，目前5号高速和2号高速相交路段还在封路。目前已有2500户人家因为Creek大火撤离，这场大火并没有造成伤亡。
洛杉矶市长在今晨的新闻发布会上表示：虽然目前火灾扩散并没有太迅速，但周四还会有强风刮来，如果有大风的加持，火势将迅速扩散。
San Fernando Valley北边的居民，需要随时做好撤离准备！
由于两场大火和大风的缘故，今天Santa Monica地区以及LAX机场地区都能闻到明显烟味，很多高速公路路段更是被烟尘所笼罩。
在此提醒南加州的小伙伴们做好防患准备，
如果户外烟尘太多，
老人和小孩可以尽量减少户外活动。
希望今年加州的雨季提早到来，
扑灭这些难以控制的火情，
也能给干旱已久的加州带来水源和希望。
