上回我们说到，凯特王妃在王室圈的时尚劲敌——西班牙王后莱蒂齐亚 (Queen Letizia)要出访英国，

爱搞事情的外媒还在王后出访前夕，脑补起了两人各种可能的时尚对决。

那么如今，和丈夫西班牙国王费利佩六世已启程来到英国的莱蒂齐亚王后，又会和凯特擦出什么样的火花？

呃，又或者是水花……

国王夫妇7月11日从西班牙启程，当时还是一片晴空万里，燃鹅到了英国，却是大雨滂沱（←不得不说，可以，这很英国）……

但饶是大雨倾盆，王后莱蒂齐亚还是keep住了自己美丽的风度，依然是相当优雅 ↓↓↓

还换上了一套超~明亮的黄色套装，给前来迎接的查尔斯夫妇俩贴面礼 ↓↓↓

感觉这“板鸭”式的热情也让查尔斯夫妇看得一愣一愣的（笑）~

当然啦，面对如此贵宾，英王室也准备了盛大的欢迎仪式。

就连英女王夫妇都出面迎接贵客前往王宫~

不过，重头戏还是在7月12日晚的英国国宴 (state banquet)上……

因为，（吃瓜群众们期待已久的）凯特和莱蒂齐亚这王室圈的两大时尚icon，终于要同框了啊！

Queen Letizia of Spain just arrived to the UK and has already shown off a few stunning outfits, but this one definitely takes the cake.

The Spanish royal took a cue from a look she wore earlier in the day while visiting the Palace of Westminster in a very similar shade of red.

上文中的take the cake是个固定搭配，意为“得头奖/拔尖”。如：Everyone did a great job, but Evan’s invention really takes the cake.（每个人都干得很棒，但是埃文的发明是最拔尖的。）

Queen Elizabeth II wore a long, quaint white satin gown with a matching aquamarine tiara and necklace. Letizia paired her drop-dead-gorgeous gown with a diamond bracelet, earrings, and tiara.

而两人的夫婿，菲利普亲王和西班牙国王费利佩六世则在一旁担任护花使者~

凯特的大胆Choice

而凯特当天，感觉也是祭出了大招！

在当天的晚宴上，凯特一条烟粉色（dusty pink）蕾丝的深V领（plunging V-neck）礼裙，而且脖子上的那串沉甸甸的项链，也相当抢镜 ↓↓↓

Kate, 35, looked sensational in a dusty pink custom-made Marchesa gown as she joined Prince William, the Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh and other senior royals to welcome King Felipe VI and his wife Queen Letizia to Buckingham Palace on Wednesday night.

The breathtaking floor-length dress featured a plunging V-neck in scalloped lace, which was a surprisingly revealing choice for the duchess and a departure from the conservative cuts she usually favours.

要知道，凯特平常的style都是走的端庄名媛风，最爱的款式是保守的高领礼服 ↓↓↓

而这次竟然穿的是小性感的深V款，感觉也是很拼了……

She has drawn criticism for playing it safe in the fashion stakes, but tonight the Duchess of Cambridge proved she is not afraid of pushing the boundaries as she attended a glittering state banquet held in honour of the King and Queen of Spain.

而凯特王妃佩戴的那条项链，也是来头不小。

The Duchess of Cambridge attended Queen Letitia of Spain a special banquet in honour of the State visit of the King and Queen of Spain, and chose to wear something with special meaning for the occasion.

这条项链名为the Ruby and Diamond Floral Bandeau，是英女王父母送给她的结婚礼物。

首饰由金银打造，上面还有数颗巨大的红宝石。女王很喜欢这条项链，在年轻的时候常常佩戴它。

女王上次佩戴这条项链，还是1983年出访瑞典的时候，也就是说，这条项链已经有三十多年没有在世人面前出现了。

To go with her Marchesagown, Kate borrowed a stunning necklace from the Queen, and what makes it even more special is that it hasn’t been seen in public for 30 years.

The opulent collar Kate wore Wednesday night, the Ruby and Diamond Floral Bandeau, was a wedding gift from the Queen's parents. Her majesty had it shortened so it was easier to wear, and wore it to a few royal engagements herself, the last being an opera gala during a state visit to Sweden in 1983.

That means it was last worn 34 years ago, which makes it all the more special.

感觉凯特能向女王借这条如此珍贵的项链，对待这场国宴也是相当重视了。

不过，据英国《每日邮报》(Daily Mail)报道，凯特无意抢贵客的风头，一直在躲着摄影师的镜头，避免和莱蒂齐亚同框：

拼起婆婆给的传家宝

外媒注意到，莱蒂齐亚在晚宴上佩戴的王冠，是她婆婆，也就是当今西班牙王太后索菲亚的王冠Fleur de Lys Tiara ↓↓↓

这顶王冠原本属于英国维多利亚女王的曾孙女，西班牙王后维多利亚·尤金妮亚 (Queen Victoria Eugenia)，后来经过代代相传，传给了王太后索菲亚。

Queen Letizia wore her husband's mother's tiara; the piece is called the Fleur de Lys Tiara or La Buena. Made in 1906 as a wedding gift from King Alfonso XIII to Queen Victoria Eugenia, the great-granddaughter of Queen Victoria, it was passed down the generations to Felipe's mother, Queen Sofia,

而凯特当晚佩戴的，则是戴安娜钟爱的王冠Cambridge Lover's Knot ↓↓↓

一开始，这个王冠归英国玛丽王后（也就是现在英女王的奶奶）所有，

后来便传给了女王，女王又在戴安娜和查尔斯结婚时，将它作为结婚礼物送给了戴安娜。

Kate donned the diamond and pearl Cambridge Lover's Knot tiara so beloved by William's late mother, Diana, Princess of Wales.

The tiara was made by Royal jewellers Garrard in 1914 to Queen Mary's personal design, from pearls and diamonds already in her family's possession.

In her will Queen Mary left the tiara to the Queen who wore it frequently, including at an evening event in 1955.

In 1981 she gave it as a wedding present to Prince William's mother, Diana.

莱蒂齐亚：从记者到王后

莱蒂齐亚出身于西班牙的一个中产阶级家庭，她的父亲是一名记者，而母亲是一名护士。

深受父亲的影响，莱蒂齐亚也有志于从事新闻行业。在获得新闻学学士学位和视听新闻学硕士后，她也成为了一名记者，当起了新闻主播。

Like Kate Middleton, Letizia doesn't come from royalty. She was born in Oviedo, northwest Spain, to a middle-class family, and was originally a career woman, working as a Spanish journalist and news anchor after completing her bachelor's degree in journalism at the Complutense University of Madrid, as well as a master's degree in audiovisual journalism at the Institute for Studies in Audiovisual Journalism.

她曾报道过2000年的美国大选，在2001年的9·11事件后做过现场直播，也曾对战火肆虐的伊拉克进行过报道。

She has reported on big stories including the US presidential elections in 2000, a live broadcast from Ground Zero following the 9/11 attack in 2001, and reports from war-torn Iraq in 2003.

She met Prince Felipe in 2002 – at the site of an oil spillage in Northern Spain. The couple announced their engagement in the gardens of the Prince's residence in November, 2003. It was a surprise to the country — they hadn't even known the Prince had a girlfriend.

而且，其实莱蒂齐亚先前还有过一段婚史，曾在1998年嫁给过一位高中老师。但两人的婚姻并没有维持多长时间，1年后他们就离婚了……

尽管面对外界的诸多压力，2004年莱蒂齐亚最终还是和费利佩携手走入了婚姻的殿堂。当时的婚礼也是一大经典盛况。

The couple were married on May 22, 2004, in a lavish ceremony at Madrid's Almudena Cathedral. Letizia wore a long-sleeved dress from Spanish fashion designer Manuel Pertegaz and a sparkling tiara — a similar look to Kate Middleton's wedding attire.
