Position:  Financial Engineering Intern
Location: New York, NY
The program:
We are looking for creative, hardworking individials with a  combination of both financial analysis and technology development background including but not limit to Financial Engineering, Quantitative Finance, and Mathmatical Finance. Finance major students with programming experience or Computer Science students with finance background are also considered. 
The Internship program offers extensive training on different kinds financial engeering professional skills such as, portfolio modeling and risk management, trading strategy development and model validation. The training is very project oriented and provides great opportunity to dive into real-world use cases and valuable knowledge about investment and risk management concepts especially on the aspect of dealing with problems and pitfalls in quantitative analysis and development faced by most organization.
Requreiments:
  • Solid background in financial engineering, quantitative finance or mathematical finance
  • Strong interest in learning about quantitative finance on investment/risk management
  • Working knowledge of portfolio theory, financial statistics, risk modeling and machine learning
  • Programming languages: Matlab, R and/or Python
  • Familar with SQL Programming and SQL Server
  • Good math foundation (Linear Algebra, Statistics & Calculus).
  • Good Understanding of Equity markets (stocks/options)
  • Good Understanding of business intellignce framework (QlikVoew or Tableau) is a plus.

The company provides an investment grade portfolios Analytics, risk managment and quantitative research platform powered by a state of the art data science & business intelligence platform and open standard analytical engine. Our clients covers a wide range of investment and risk management professional buy side firms.
