Job Description
Position：Dallas Advisory-Corporate Finance (Summer 2018 Intern)
Location：Dallas, Texas
Working closely with client-facing deal teams, you will provide recommendations that are aligned with an organization’s business goals and overall strategic and transactional objectives. Constructing financial models to help clients assess growth strategies, capital structure decisions, and transaction alternatives will help you develop a comprehensive technical skill set.  
Concurrently, you will employ a number of core valuation methodologies to help businesses evaluate their worth in the marketplace and advise them on appropriate ranges at which to conduct transactions. 
Also, you will have the opportunity to learn how to appropriately position businesses in the investor community by articulating value propositions and anticipating potential concerns.  Across these responsibilities, you will receive considerable exposure to senior bankers and clients as you participate in each phase of the transaction process.
Qualifications
• Enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Finance, Accounting, and/or Economics or related field
• Relevant work experience (e.g. internships, summer positions, school jobs)
• Ability to analyze companies from a financial, operational, and industry perspective 
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team on multiple tasks and assignments
• Demonstrated leadership and strong verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to travel 
Preferred:
• Strong academic track record (minimum GPA of 3.2)
