Have you had time to check out Xiamen?
I've visited some historical sites with my friends but we're wondering where to see modern Xiamen. Any suggestions?
I guess you haven't been to Zhongshan Road yet? It's a must for anyone visiting Xiamen.
What's it like?
It is one of Xiamen's most successful commercial areas. It has it all: street markets, high-end malls, cafes, restaurants, theaters and more.
It sounds cool but what makes it unique?
I love the area's architecture, which combines Asian and Western elements and gives you a peek into the history of Xiamen.
Oh, I get it. It combines traditional and modern Xiamen.
Exactly. And the public transportation is well developed around there.
